Best Premier League Goals Ever

Post by GranadaJoe »

Yahoo is conducting a poll for the best PL goal ever. They've shortlisted 10, including TH14 and DB10 as well as the classics from Matt Le Tissier. For some reason they've included Rooney's overhead kick against Citeh (the one that came off of his shin). You may want to vote or just enjoy.

Hopefully this link works, but it's not difficult to find.

I do hope Abou's goal at Villa Park is in the list.

The best piece of game changing brilliance I've seen in an Arsenal shirt - started and finished by the great man. I can just see Ramsey scoring a goal like that

By the way - is Augie one of those fans mobbing the Imperious One by the corner flag during the celebration ??

No Bergkamp v Leicester

And i would put TH14's goals v the Spuds and Liverpool 2004 better than the Utd goal

He certainly scored the best header in premiership history when he rose like a salmon to bullet it into the net.........at Old Trafford

There was me thinking you were going to mention the bullet header against the Mickeys at the Bowl - another piece of match winning genius :barscarf:

Where is Kiwomya versus Palace? Nothing short of a scandal.

I have never seen anyone score a goal like Bergkamp's in Newcastle. It's unrepeatable.

bergkamp was already moving to where the ball was going to be as he took his first touch, if he didn't mean it he would've had to take the split second to realise he'd miscontrolled, and then the split second to realise where it was going, then another split second to react and start moving in that direction... and if that was the case i don't think he would've got there in front of the defender, who DID have to realise and react, and was a yard behind dennis because of it

The only reason i think it was meant was because it was Bergkamp any other player i would not believe only Bergkamp was capable of that but i still have my doubts :?
