Bit of a strange poll really... Its a bit like asking if you'd like to be castrated with a broken bottle or some garden shears I dont care about top 4 unless we are first but then i dont want to be behind sp*rs

Anyone that puts their hatred of that scum above their love for Arsenal needs to have a look at themselves....thats what scum fans have done for years - we are better than that.

That's what bugs me. People are more worried about bragging rights than the club moving forward
I want Arsenal to be as successful as possible... and by that, I mean real success, not just an annual St Totteringham day trophy in the cabinet. For that to happen, the champions league is clearly important, so to sacrifice that for bragging rights is not right. (and as I said in another thread, it's retarded bragging rights as both clubs have had a shit, potless season... again!)

Youre not in the minority but people have such a hatred for sp*rs it often clouds their mind. Im with you that i want Arsenal to progress beyond the St.Totteringham day trophy but getting 4th with sp*rs 3rd doesnt excite me and wouldnt suggest we've done well either

Flash has already alluded to what I am saying anyway g88ner, but surely moving forward isnt what this club is doing now or even for the past few seasons ? Would you not agree that right now wenger and our money men are prioritising finishing anywhere in the top 4 ahead of everything else ? Do you think that is acceptable or even progress ? I am one of a growing number of fans who are sick to the teeth of the champs lge obsession for a comp that we havent a hope in hell of winning I will tell you right now that if rvp announced in the morning that he wants to leave in the summer then I would want us to finish 6th (out of champs league places but not stuck in the mickey mouse thurs night cup ) cos I believe that we need to take one step back now to have any hope of taking two steps forward in the future. Do you believe that wenger, ivan and kroenke feel that there is anything wrong the way our club is being run cos I certainly dont so why would they change approach ? As long as we stick with this approach then we have no chance of being winners again anytime soon and that is unacceptable to me for a club of our size so maybe a shary hard shock to the financial pockets is exactly what this club needs It is because of that that I would sacrifice top 4 as long as we didnt also have to suffer finishing behind those scummy c**ts
I see some people's point about wanting Arsenal to do well even if it means finishing below "them".
However, If "they" finish above us then there can be no more arguements: They will be better than us. They would have developed a team better than ours and officially be London's #1. That's more than bragging rights, that's a disgrace to us and would show how far we have fallen. To finish below "them" would be the final nail in our coffin.
Finishing 5th for me is analogous to finishing 4th.
I don't really mind which fix of a competition we're in, and a few more interesting away trips wouldn't go amiss. Maybe it'd see a shake up in the club too. Still, it's a loss of prestige.
