Of course, we now face the RvP "will he, won't he" circus that we've become accustomed to each summer with Pv4, TH14, Cesc etc.

All the club can do to persuade RvP now is to go and spend the remaining available cash on some decent quality. M'Vila would be a start, an nventive midfielder a must, and a decent back-up keeper wouldn't be too much to ask would it?
I reckon this early signing is intended to show RVP intent. But Im afraid there needs to be more than just Poldi to persuade him to stay.

:-P won't happen, but he is only a few players out there, who looks like he can make things happen when on the ball - love to see him and RVP together -

Come on Arsene ... Get as many German players as you can get your hands on before the Euros.. and say goodbye to inconsistency and hello to professional hunger to succeed every time any time!!

I am very happy that we have signed podolski but ffs please lets keep things in perspective here - we have signed 1 player so far and people seem to forget that we signed a player straight after the season ended last season and it didnt signal a busy summer of signings did it ? Of course I am not comparing podolski with the forehead in terms of quality cos there is absolutely no comparison but it doesnt mean that we will be signing players galore so calm down ffs

Btw are ye serious about signing robben ?? Have we not got enough of injury prone crocks already ?

yep, rather get 20 games out of Robben, than 38 out of Walcott -

If Wenger is to shop bargains in the german market we could end up with Kagawa and Robben, which would be really great. Don't doubt Kagawa, but I can't see Robben coming to take Theo's holy place in the right wing.

I can't see us signing him, this will turn out like the Joe Cole saga.

This is a fantastic early signing. I am hoping this means that there is more quality to come our way this summer, but I'm not going to syke myself up for it. I'll be happy if it happens and pissed if it don't, but I refuse to be disappointed. I'd rather bet on the usually shite than change for the better.

I see what the strategy is now - we buy loads of germans and then try and win the CL on penalty shoot outs :D
