Time outs
Should they introduce 'Time outs' into the Premier League? I know this sounds very American but I think it might help the managers make more constructive tactical changes. Please debate.
Re: Time outs
I reckon each fan should be able to call a time out every time they want another beer or a piss....discuss ?

Re: Time outs
You're right. I'd really love it if soccerball was like football where a 1 hour game lasts 3 hours.

Time outs would be wasted on our senile old fool especially in the first 70 minutes

Re: Time outs
Cannot see how they would add to the game?
Managers would get a tactical talk, but it would take away from the drama and pace of the game.
But I am in favour of video replays for contentious matters, each manager getting three appeals per game.

Re: Time outs
Absolutely not, there's enough silly time-wasting tactics as it is.
I'm not necessarily against change, but timeouts just don't fit the sport.

Re: Time outs
I must say Time Outs are way down in my list of favourite chocolate bars.

Re: Time outs
Very much agree with this, but would suggest one appeal per half...QuartzGooner wrote:

Give each side three video replay reviews. They choose when. And when they've had their three - its all up to the officials.
Re: Time outs
In the hotter months, our league matches have a water break 20' in the half because the tv makes the teams play when is really hot and they'd boil.
It's really bad for the match's pace. wouldn't work.
