Mikey you are being very selective in what you are saying and it is a misrepresentation of what we said - I am not judging the guy at all and am not saying if he is quality or not but I for one do not want to get into next season seeing song, walnut or the forehead as first 11 players therefore improving the quality at those positions should be a bigger priority unless wenger is selling one of our existing centre backs first. That is all I have said and twisting my words wont change that

There is no way on earth Wenger will spend 20mil on a player that will compete directly with Song.

7mil for a good cb that will be regarded as a bargain, c’mon mate you know how the old man operates.

I am a realist and there is no point talking about players such as M ’Villa Gotze or Hazard as wenger won’t spend that kind of money , nor will he upset his favourite’s.

If it was me I would drop Song,Theo, 4 head and Gibbs from the starting 11!

So when your mate says "done deal", is that 'done' in so much as it's on the cards and all that needs to be agreed is a fee, or whatever - or it is it signed, sealed and delivered?

He is good mates with Wilshere too. You see the squad aren't just mates with fellow players. There are other people who work at Arsenal apart from the squad, Wenger and Pat Rice. The other thing you should know is that Jens Lehmann is in the frame to replace Pat Rice.
