SOCCER AM - REMOVE IT FROM OUR SCREENS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

SOCCER AM - REMOVE IT FROM OUR SCREENS

Post by frankbutcher »

Does anyone occassionally stumble across this relic from the past? One of the most cringe-worthy shows on TV. It broke down barriers when it first hit our screens. Even Helen Chamberlain looked like a real sort way back then. It's at least 10 years out of date. The thing needs to be put into Room 101.

I like it. Nothing else to watch on a saturday morning and it's a laugh. Bit crap when the guests are nobody important or interesting

Can't stand it, I used to watch it now and again when that smarmy wanker Tim Lovejoy was on it, like I watched it one year and a year on I would catch it and he was still doing that the same stupid impression of Jack Douglas, so yes, it's a pile of steaming shit in the same bracket as In a League of their Own with that other useless wanker James Corden.

Title sums it up, another example of Sky trying to make 'Soccer' cool and appealing to the masses in order to sell more subscriptions. And as for Helen Chamberlain, not worth a ***** now.

How can a forum that calls itself 'on the terraces' star out the word W A N K??? :banghead: Last time I was stood on a terrace that would have been one of the more polite words used.
