Arsenal v Norwich

penealty was stonewaller but gerv was yard offside, and he interfered with play. no excuses, defence shite, no defensive midfielder is the key issue. no one can judge this defence till they have a competent dm in front of them.

Not really, if we played with any kind of tempo we'd have carved through them, as we did for about 15 minutes at the end of the game. Our back 5 obviously looked a shambles and Gibbs in particular was missing in action all day. But when you allow a premier league outfit to stroll through your midfield without even pretending to track them then your back 4 is going to look pretty shit.

Song and Ramsey were fucking disgraces today and I wish to never see them in Arsenal shirts ever again.

I've had enough of Wenger's arsenal, we made Norwich look good today. In reality they were average plodders.

We didn't deserve any more from the game, but that has to be as bad a refereeing peformance as I've seen in years. The idiot was completely incompetent. We should have had three penalties and Norwich should have had one, and apparently dragging a player back by the shoulders off the ball doesn't warrant a card.

Would any Song supporters like to go into print defending his calamitous performance this time? A typical Sheepshead performance. Continually getting caught in possession (and NO, he doesn't usually win it back), this match leading directly to a goal, slow in possession, feeble passing etc. Will we hear the usual, "but he played a lovely pass", shit?

Our defence continually had four forwards to take care of with Song and Ramsey 15 yards away admiring the view. Whenever we play at that slow pace we look mediocre.

I will, we don't deserve to be in the "champions league" (we haven't been champions for 8 years FFS!) and we would get into that one knowing that we have half of chance of winning it. Wouldn't got to any home games mind, they can stick that up their arse (unless tickets prices are massively lowered... as if)

Don't worry we'll still sign M'vila purely because he's French, that's our lot.

I've been a long time Gooner Forum reader but never signed up, just enjoyed reading the posts. However, today's performance just sums up the last 3 or 4 years of under performance, below-par squad players, and a manager who just won't see or do anything about the obvious deficiencies! Song, Ramsey, Gervinho, Chamakh, Walcott, Djourou, Squillacci, Fabianski, Almunia, Park (!), etc etc etc. After the AC Milan home game, why hasn't the Ox played Centre-Mid? Admittedly, we have missed Arteta, who has been top-drawer this season, but we are Arsenal and one player should not make all the difference. I think Wenger has had his hands tied regarding funds, but still no excuses for some of the shite we have seen this year. New coaching staff and a big, experienced signing in defence and midfield, but please Arsene, admit your mistakes or it may be time to go! (Come on Villa!)

I disagree, he spent 11M was it on Gervinho? And how much on Park? He spent what little money he did on some average shit. Arteta and OC were the only good buys of the summer.
