As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
To be honest it's fucking depressing to see all these other cunty teams enjoying days out at Wembley and winning cups while we take the moral high and harp on about "yeah, but we're in the black..." etc etc
Don't think it was completely over the line, the linesman has no chance at real speed and if he's not sure he can't give it.
Makes me sick seeing Chelsea lifting another trophy, our players should be watching this feeling worse and remembering it when they are surrendering meekly at Sunderland or Stoke in the early rounds of the FA Cup. I don't care what some people may think of it. It's still a fucking trophy and still a great and prestigeous one at that and the way we have treated it over the years is disgusting. Winning the cup would do the club a power of good.

Dont be silly man. We'll win the financial fair play trophy. Thats steeped in history and is much more prestigeous.

would be nice to win a cup, but it would paper over the cracks and give Wenger another 5 year deal. We are so far away from winning the PL and CL - how many points are we behind Manchester city
I know it wouldn't hide Wenger's failings but it would just be nice to enjoy that winning feeling again. I know nobody has the divine right to win trophies but we are The Arsenal and not giving it the self-righteous big un' winning trophies is something we used to be bloody good at, stating the obvious we all know this.
Besides success breeds success in a lot of cases, I suspect this set of players have experienced failure too many times and are mentally scarred by it, ah I don't know, maybe just the beer talking but it's been such a bad day
Just can't stand seeing those bunch of arseholes winnning yet another trophy whilst our big time charlies bottle another game.

We had the presentation of the real trophy today at half time - the groundsman of the year award
it's that sort of "liverpool" thing.. doesn't seem to matter how good or shit they are, they just sort of somehow end up in cup finals.
cup runs for us seem to be painful, desperate, up against it and then ultimately depressing.
even when we got to the cl final, what the fuck were those 2 legs against villareal about?! yes they certainly weren't a shit team, but we'd disposed of juventus and real madrid with good, solid, disciplined performances, it all seemed there for us... and then we nearly threw it all away!
as it happened we threw it away anyway. what is it with barca, english teams and red cards?
It's a right fucking pain to see the chavs have their shittest season for a decade and still win the FA cup and have a Champions League Final to play, whilst we *word censored* along doing fuck all year after year. The last few seasons have been so depressing and so desperate at times and year after year, we have to see other teams winning trophies that we used to hoover up. After another bottle job shambles to a shitty bottom-half, newly promoted team and fuck all to look forward to, it really would be nice to win something, have a day out at a final and feel proud of the team again. As each trophyless year ticks past, the likelihood of winning something gets less and less. Change is needed.
Glad Chelsea won even though I hate them, but I couldn't listen to the plastic Liverpool "fans" around here if they won. Liverpool and Dalglish have something to moan about which willl make them happy anyway. Awful final and awful athmosphere , it didn't feel like Cup Final day... The FA have screwed up this competition big time. Sure they will blame others like foreign players/managers, but it was the FA that downgraded the competition..
