Wengers "project" has failed miserably. Even he has recognised this. Seven years without a trophy coming so soon after an incredible invincible team speaks volumes.
Its fcuking over. Its been over for years. When will some wake up, take off the rose tinted specks and man up, admit they were wrong and move on?
Time to start again - from the bottom- up. If this means not getting the "top four trophy" and having the insult of Thursday night football, then so be it. A seismic shift is required. Sooner the better. Not getting the "top four trophy" with the revenue and kudos will scare the shit out Wenger and the suits and maybe advance change. Change is good lads. Dont be scared of change.

Wengers managerial credentials are in tatters. Time to face reality lads. Hes well finished.

disclaimer seen no replays - that said I'm stone cold sober which is more than can be said most of the time...
tragic performance 1st half
terrible from front to back - can't remember any individual catastrophic errors from Kos and Sagna but they were part of a defence that shipped loads of chances
Rosicky was pretty OK but I felt like he failed to track for the 2nd (haven't seen a replay) and really should have scored a header (someone else was fouled at the same time I think?)
every other player on the pitch made multiple throbs I would have been ashamed of drunk on a Sunday morning
for goodness sake I save the equaliser and apart from that Szcz's distribution was horrific,
that player running past a halfturned Verm was humiliating,
Gibbs - bloody hell Gibbs so so many pathetic errors.
Song is a mixed bag of a player - I've tried to defend him on here after several mistakes in a game
1st half today he did pretty much everything wrong, embarrassingly bad
and yet still probably better than Rambo - a loan move must beckon for him.
Gervinho was so crap I couldn't believe he didn't get subbed (I was wrong on that his pace hurt a tired Norwich).
Yossi flattered to decieve after an excellent start - he's the more defensive of two wide men, which was OK if its Parlour Overmars with a #10 behind the striker but Rosicky is a midfielder and Gervinho has zero goal threat.
(I would still consider signing Yossi up but that just shows the paucity of options we have)
even RVP missed absolutely stacks of chances - some pretty easy
Coquelin was actually decent out of position off the bench but still had an almostly insane suicidal back header that I still don't know what he was doing
Chamakh (who lets be frank is rubbish) actually played OK and looked like a footballer, if not a goalscorer
Ox was good off the bench - you begin to worry Wenger has sacrificed CL at the altar of keeping him out of the euro squad (although he was terrible the other week)

I say all this
a- because I'm very disappointed and
b- because it has to be said before this point
WHAT THE FCUKING HELL ARE YOU WATCHING?!?!?!??? how, how, how can that not be a penalty??
How - in the name of all that is holy can you not give a penalty how???
a whole effing home season gone without one single pen
OK - that could be a statistical aberration
but my god how can that not be given - I've seen it once live and I don't need to see it again
sometimes you withold judgement till the replay - players exaggerate movements, seek contact
but FFS this was stonewall, cast iron, clear as day, blatant, plain as the nose on your face, obvious, indisputable, self-evident, undeniable, fecking penalty

there is nobody between RVP and the goal, he has a tap-in, a tap-in for a hat-trick, an injury time winner, a tap-in that could secure his team 3rd place, a tap-in that could be his last touch at the stadium and this weasly prick ref thinks he throws himself into the back of the net?!?!? Tony Taylor needs defenestrating twice, Tony Taylor shouldn't be sent down a division he should be thrown down the fecking stairs, blind clueless inept see you next tuesday. I am in shock. Still in shock. Worst decision I've seen all season. I hope Sian Massey spends the next ten years trapped in a lift with Richard Keys and Andy Gray only to emerge to an empty apocalypse world were she has to sire a new human race with them. Blind muppet. How how how how can that not be given.
Screwing.

I was injuring my foot booting the chair in front of me when my mum did vaguely cheer me:
for us to make 4th, and it to be good enough, we're reliant on ManShitty and Bayern Munich - well it's better than relying on that bunch of wnakers

bye Pat
home it's not bye Robin

Just back from the game and I dont care who you are or where you travelled from to attend that game cos that is just fcuking unacceptable

We had sooooo many shit players today it was embarassing - chesney's decisions and distributions were fcuking woeful but I also thought that tv5 was woeful and he was caught out positionally for two of their goals but that seems to have been ignored  Koscielney and sagna (prior to injury  ) were fcuking immense and were the only two players we had

This leads me to the C in Charge - everybody was rightfully slating ramsey but the klingon forehead waste of money was far far worse at least until the 70th minute mark. We had absolutely no c**t in midfield and time and time again their midfield had a clear run at our backline as our brainless D**khead DM was absolutely nowhere to be found and it was somewhat poetic that one of his regular misplaced passes was key for their 3rd goal
Of course when wenger decided to finally wake the fcuk up and we went 4-4-2 we started to destroy them and gervinho started to look decent and even maryanne looked lively - could it be that wenger and his fcuked up unsuitable formation has been the reason why players like these and the team in general have looked so shit ??

Not for the first time this season I came away from the ground wondering if the 1k a season ticket plus another 1.5k travelling expenses was worth it  It isnt the result that sticks in the throat as such, although it hurts obviously, but it is the apathy and general lack of commitment that we see from these players on an all too regular basis nowadays. It has been said before that wenger has now accumulated a squad far far inferior to that which he inherited when he took over  The club places a great emphasis on a statement made by TA6 where he says that "the past is gone and it is the future what is important" and sadly as long as I see wenger, song, diaby etc in our squad I dont see anything changing

Finally to those in block 11 (there were only a few mind) who started chanting "one arsene wenger" during the lap of appreciation, can you please fcuking fcuk off and support some other club

The excuses have started already.....

on whether Arsenal deserve to qualify…
"It depends on what you mean by 'deserve'. We have 67 points, and every year you qualify with 67 points."

Sorry mate but when you're 8 points clear with 5 games to go and you end up getting 3 points from the next 4 matches - 3 of which were at home against the likes of Wigan, Chelsea reserves and Norwich - then you don't deserve anything!!  :banghead:

agree with most of that, bar a few of things
1- we can still make 4th, that's par IMO, enough to give the manager another chance
2- someone else has already said this - we should have gone back to 4-5-1 at 3-2
3- surely you have to mention the pen - a truly unbelievable decision

lastly, just got home? nightmare. Must have been hell.
sorry - I give out sometimes about local fans etc but fair play.
What a horrible journey that must have been - would have found it hard to believe anyone could be a pished off as me but I'm guessing you might even be in a worse mood.

Did he really say that?! "Deserving to qualify" means doing better than at least 16 other teams in the league you cretin, and even then that shouldn't be anything to crow about.

Fucking embarrassing.

Do you mean the pen that should have been given when kos blatantly fouled Martin pulling his shirt?

HighburyJD, the refusal to award us a penalty was an absolute shocker but it was sympthamatic of the referee's performance all game long - I have seen poor performances from refs that I would suggest have an agenda but this referee today was totally inept and had not got a scooby doo what the fcuk he was at. I will also add that they should have had a penno in the first half when their guy got kicked in the face - the kick in the face wasnt the offence but kos was ripping the shirt off his back as the cross came in

Anyway I dont go in for the judging of supporters by how many times they attend games or by how far they have travelled so I am not trying to say that my sacrifices are any different from any other Gooner but what I was saying is that, in life, not matter what you buy you have to judge if you are getting value for your money and right now I feel that we are not and that is why I am questioning my future financial commitment  I am 42 years old so I have grown up in some lean times but at least in those days we had players that would bust a gut for the club and would stand up and be counted no matter how shite they were. In days gone by we would not allow that lead to slip cos you know that the players would take man and ball if necessary to get the win - these c**ts dont have it inside them and are playing for a manager that doesnt believe in shouting at his players or motivating them with a blood and guts type of speech

Augie, can you ever remember a time when you've not rated or have disliked/hated so many players in an Arsenal team? Because I can't!! Yes we've probably had individuals that one could categorise as being poor and not Arsenal class but I can't remember any Arsenal squad in the past 40 odd years that have had so many players that just don't deserve to be wearing our shirt because of either their lack of ability or worse, lack of effort and commitment.

And as for Peter Hill Wood - I wonder what he has got to say now? Was quick to shout his mouth off when we winning but has been conspicuous by his silence since everything has gone tits up!! New Wenger contract indeed!!

Tbh hlebby I cant - it saddens me so much to see a lot of these players representing our club nowadays cos our club with our history should never have to endure so many gutless players who show no pride in themselves or in the club
I think what angers me most is that I dont see anything changing in the foreseeable future - as donaldo has said, a great man would walk away with some dignity when he is failing but wenger continually refuses to do so and no c**t in the boardroom shows any inclination of demanding change  When did one man's agenda become more important than that of the club ? If we are to take TA's words literally then we have to accept that what has happened in wenger's past is gone and the future is what is important and I cannot see how any Gooner can see a bright future under wenger

I've seen the fool complaining yet again on Sky Sports earlier, when will this inept walking disaster learn? :banghead:

When Wenger eventually resigns or gets chucked out like the lying creature he is, so many people in the media, punditry business and general fans will be quick to forget his obvious and fucking endless bad points and hark back to the Invincibles etc. and divert attention away from his fucking constant lies, tactical/strategic ineptness, dereliction of managerial duty and everything else. As much as what Piers Morgan did years ago, he seems the only fucking celebrity willing to speak out against Wenger, with every other fucker seemingly too scared to dare criticise the fool
