HOW OLD ARE YOU?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Looking 51 in the face this year............assuming neither of us blink... 8) ............... ...........

Was there in the old schoolboy enclosure infront of the West Stand, which was on the North Bank side, when we beat Anderlect 3 - 0 to break our 17 year 'duck' and win the Fairs Cup in 1970. Never looked back since !

You said it Lisa - still the greatest single moment in the history of the world. Ever. 8)

"Thomas, breaking through the midfield. Thomas - it's up for grabs now! Thomaaaaaasssss!!!!"

I wouldn't swap that for twenty years off! 8)

And I was 12 when we did the manure filth in 79. Great memories! 8)

What a great night that was the best ever at Highbury in my opinion. And i was at Wembley the year later with my Dad to see us win the first of our 3 doubles

It's worse than that. I'm confusing East and West! The Schoolboy enclosure was infront of the East Stand - North Bank side as the players came out the tunnel  8)

I am not even slightly religious and I remember praying with 5 minutes to go in May 1989. It meant SO much to me, even as a nine year-old who had never been fortunate enough to visit Highbury in those days.

It was the most exciting and delightful footballing experience ever. I will never forget it. Better than poaching the Spu*s captain on a free transfer and having him score for us in the CL final!! Mind you, I was dancing around like a mental for quite a while then as well
