Possibility that we may not even get Europe leag?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thursday / Sunday would suit me. Means I can play Rugby again. Can't normally commit due to the amount of Saturday matches. :D

5-a-side after work, yeah. Rugby's a proper game to play though. :-P

 Sure mate, sure

I was always a winger cos I was short and quick, used to be fucking bored out of my head, shame as I loved the game, but it being at schoolboy level, I got the ball about once a game and never had anything to do, so never enjoyed it. :banghead:

well even if we get CL football, we could still landed up in the Europa, just like man city and man u - i agree with the nonsense of Thursday football and affecting Saturday games
I like a back door entry but not this kind. I really don't understand why third place CL failures are allowed to get in. Adding more teams makes the Europa go on far too long. And if we don't get in the CL next season I would be really pissed off if the Europa was full price and used up the cup games on my season ticket. It's time to use squad players and let the first XI stay fit and concentrate on the Premiership. Paying full price to watch some Bulgarian unknowns on a Thursday night does not appeal to me.

Are Arsenal 2012 realy the 3rd best team in England ? if so thats a damming insight on the state on the current premiership !!!!... how many of the current squad would have got in the invincables team?... maybe RVP and Shez whould have be on the bench! thats it .

the sheer fact that Arsenal 2012 may finish 3rd is damming .. this is the worst Arsenal side since the early 1980s

and they dont deserve 3rd or 4th ... the champions leauge finish is a bonus for a overall poor season

yep, can't argue with that. The PL has been piss poor, for the last 3 seasons, and it is funny how we have over achieved this season,

we sold 4 first team players in the summer and brought in only 1 decent player in Arteta and still manage to get a top 4 finish,

At the end of the day I don't think we're good enough at present, perhaps not playing in Europe would finally wake up the powers that be. It's all about money and if we don't get the 30mil or whatever it is it comes out of their pocket because so far I can't recall it being spent on players or reducing the admission prices.
Quality cost's, if you don't reinvest the product suffers and grocer Stan should know that better than anyone.

Mixed feelings on this.

In one way it's better to play less games and put more effort in the domestic cups and pl.

In another way it gives more chance to play the fridge players and younger players and ofcourse we get to see our beloved Arsenal play more games.

I'd rather we be in it.

if we fail to make the Champions Leauge then hopefully the Prawn sandwich brigade will disappear .. and even more hopefully the board will wake up !

Ustmanov can blow Abramovich out of the water finacally .. we need some of his small change invested

and Wenger needs a new backroom team impossed on him...weather he likes it or not.

this load of rubbish cannot continue .. Arsene the experiment has failed now for plan B

Just a reminder that we haven't got even 4th place yet and could still end up as low as 6th if we don't get something from next week and that Spurs, Newcastle and even Chelsea (who have a game in hand) could still over-take us if they win their games. :banghead: :banghead:

Even if this was to happen, it would be pointless with Wenger at the helm. He would continue everything he does now. A proper manager with ambition is required first.
