broken metatarsal

I have broken my metatarsal the one that connects to my smallest toe, i am going to the fracture clinic what can i expect? hopefully i don't leave in one of them boots

Thanks they just booked me another appointment in 3 weeks, and only gave me vague statements like do not use it to much! i have a full time job and need to get about, but at the same time i don't want to mess it up.

no sorry, they told me it is a break on the one that connects to my little toe, i am worried that i am stressing it through lack of advice, i fly to germany in 2 weeks and was hoping it would progress a bit at least by then

attending CL final in Munich?

If the fracture is not dislocated and you don´t stress it too much (walk, run and bear a weight as little as possible!) it should heal in 3-4 weeks.

Nah I just like germany / german beer... flying to baden baden for 20 pounds with couple mates then going to travel round south germany / austria / Switzerland

been to munich and berlin and liked them both

cool so should be on the mend for German trip, if i don't go to heavy on it.

I had one a year or so ago and ended up with one of those big boots on my foot for a few weeks. Can't remember the exact details of how long - for obvious reasons.

You're probably still wearing it. But you actually think it's a shoe. Which perfectly matches the blue pumpkin on the other foot.
