Gosh, that's so young....I wasn't into the BB's but his family must be devastated. RIP.

He and the other Beastie Boys were one of my youth heroes.

I remember bunking into Glasto desperate to see Oasis
saw Beastie Boy just because they were on the main stage before them- they weren't cool then
we had all loved 'fight for your right' as kids but they seemed so untrendy
then they absolutely blew the doors off - everyone went nuts
went straight out and bought all their new stuff

quality band, sad news

This news really ruined my weekend. Totally gutted he lost his battle but he left such a great legacy. RIP Adam - King of the Ave.
