As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i took one look, and went "Arthur Albiston" no idea why, but it looks like a bad early eighties manc kit.
though to be fair, it's all our fault.
if we didn't buy this utter rubbish, then they wouldn't bother producing it in the first place.
and any one notice another new logo behind the boys ?
next year we are Mods apparently...
still better than the cartoon, which i still refuse to wear.

It looks like last years kit with blue collar and an extra bit of blue added to the sleeve.
Does anyone know why we wear blue on our home kit? The story is during WW2 we used SHL as a home ground as Highbury was being used as an Air Raid Protection centre. As a thank you to sp*rs we put blue somewhere on our home kit since

It's an urban myth, apparently. In the days when I bought the match programme, this question was in there and the answer was that the club have no knowledge of this at all. I think as a thank you to the scum, we let them witness our two title winning parties at their shithole ground.

Do the club not have any say on what the kit looks like?
What total and utter shitty crap. Who the fuck thinks a blue hoop on an Arsenal HOME shirt is Arsenal?
And they look like they're standing infront of a Tube station

Kit deal was extended in 2011 for 3 years at £9m per year. We have a say on the kit but as long as the home kit is red and white, there's not a lot we can do. I can't see that we have much say on the sway kit as there is a complete lack of consistency with it (Blue, White, Blue and Yellow and now this monstrosity )

The club give NIKE a general guideline (red and white colours, the crest) and NIKE present 5 or 6 options and the club choose one.
Personally I think it looks like one of those cheap rip-off T-shirts you see in shops in Portugal and Spain, the ones that look a bit like a real jersey, but not quite...
That would be a decent Arsenal strip if it wasn't for the stupid sleeve detail. Suppose clubs need to make "changes" to the strip every so often to justify churning a new one out every season and expecting £50 for what is effectively a fairly shit t-shirt.
This is the laziest shirt ive seen in years. basically the same as last year but coloured the collar blue, stuck a black (i know its navy) armband on to mourn the last 7 tropheyless years, and put the old badge back on. It looks like a feckin prototype with leftovers from the last few seasons. So poor.

Weve had blue on the home kit going back to the days of Woolwich Arsenal so its nothing really new. However the blue hoops on the sleeves and the collar just look shit.
Looks ridiculous. I didn't like like the kit from last season either. The socks for this kit are awful. Overall, too much of a throwback. I was really hoping for something interesting. I'm really kicking myself for not getting an away kit this year because I'm really worried about what those are going to look like for next season. I'd love to get a Podolski shirt, but I just don't think I can justify paying a heap load of money for a heap load of crap.
I think it looks alright. Not the first time we've had blue on the sleeve. Didn't we win three trophies last time '93 & '94.
Anyway, do you think they put the dutch flag on the sleeve to encourage RVP stays?
If they did and he does = job done
