Been injured basically all season but anyone who saw his debut last season vs Leeds, does he look like he can make the grade one day?

Another one of the Academy/Youth/Reserve players of a decade or more, played with Wilshere, Gibbs, Frimpong, Eastmond, Lansbury etc. for pretty much the entire time I think.

I cant find a quote or a link Or anything as I cant be arsed to look. But I definatly remember Cesc saying (just before he left) when Henderson got his current bad injury, to watch out for this player as he is going to be deadly for Arsenal when he comes back. High prasie indeed. I am hopeful with Hendo making the grade, and hes London Irish so that’s even better.

As I said he had a major injury last season or at the start of this season I can't remember, hence why he's been out.

Ah, I would have given him a chance out wide ahead of Gervinho any day. Under a proper manager the lad would have already displaced Gervinho by now, I hope he makes it here.

Saw him in the replay to Orient last year. He had a good game from what I remember, his injury hasnt helped but sadly I can see him being one of those that is never given a chance.

Having said that, I hope he proves me wrong and turns into a quality player for the club.

Looked like a good all round midfielder but has been injured for so long I have no idea what he will be like when he returns.

I think this year was going to be the year he pushed on and made some appearances for the first team, but unfortunately his injury prevented that.

It appears that Wenger and the rest of the set up rate him and there were murmurs he could be a part of the ireland euro set up if he was fit and had played games, (don't hold me to that just what I have heard).

All i can say is there seems to be some Wilshere style hype around him and just hoping he can deliver.

Indeed he did. From Arsenal.com ....

"The 19-year-old midfielder twisted his knee in the final seconds of the 2-1 win over Cologne on Saturday and was stretchered off."

And may I add that it was done whilst being played as a left back!! :banghead: :banghead:
