Re: The showdown v the Baggies
Have to agree with you armchair about qualifying for CL.15 years in CL and only 1 final appearance is a disgraceful record. Its the money they want so they can squirrel it away and then fill us with PR bullshit about our consecutive appearances and what a great achievment it is because all the other nasty clubs spend more money than us.Not being in it might give them a big kick in the arse thats badly needed.
Re: The showdown v the Baggies
Not only just the 1 final appearance, but only two semi finals! Didn't the chavs reach something like 4 in the last 6 years or something?!mcdowell42 wrote:Have to agree with you armchair about qualifying for CL.15 years in CL and only 1 final appearance is a disgraceful record.

Much as i'd like to think a year or two out of the CL would give the club a kick up the backside, the other half of me thinks the club would just reel in the spending even more & keep the purse strings tightly closed to cover the loss of CL income

Wanted: one board with ambition.

Re: The showdown v the Baggies
Had a dream we lost 2-1 in this game and my sub conscious is usually spot on. Dreading this game, should of been wrapped up already but hope the team prove me wrong
Oh and is wrong to bet that it'll be 2-1? Don't like betting against us but be nice to have some consolation afterwards

I think your dreaming a bit too muchk1tsun3 wrote:RvP sets a 38-game season record with a hat trick against WBA, giving Arsenal 3 points, a 3rd place finish, and RvP 33 goals in the EPL this season (top scorer and new record holder).
Well, at least that is what I'm wishing for!

Could never bet against the club myself but definitely go for it, there are certain games you just know aren't going to go our way and so what's wrong with winning a bit of money on that?IrishGunner wrote:Had a dream we lost 2-1 in this game and my sub conscious is usually spot on. Re: The showdown v the Baggies
I just woke up after a heavy weekend. I only remember that Kanu scored a hat-trick and Martin Jol's victoria sponge peace cake is being investigated. Alan Pardew got the sack for being a *word censored* and Allardyce lost the playoff's because he is a bigger *word censored*.
Oh, btw. Arsenal won 3-2 at W.Brom

Cannot believe that this thread has reached 12 pages and we aint even at the day of the game yet
Unlike many of you, I have to say that right now I am not nervous about the match tomorrow at all. I have to admit that most of the reason for my calmness is down to the fact that I have long since accepted the fact that we will not win tomorrow and will probably be dependent on everton to keep us in the top 4
The way I am thinking now is that I will probably go to my local manure pub to enjoy the craic taking the piss out of them c**ts as citeeh win the league rather than staying home and trying to watch a crappy stream, pulling my hair out in frustration at another inept lax performance by our team
Of course by the time 3pm rolls around I will probably have changed my mind and will park myself in front of my laptop communicating with you guys trying to keep up with events in hawthorns but still dont think I will watch the game online
God I hope the baggies have already mentally started their holidays

We'll draw tomorrow, Spuds will win and the Geordies will fail to win, leaving us 4th and praying.

Sadly true, and think what it will be like when the chavs win on pens next Saturday.TeeCee wrote:We'll draw tomorrow, Spuds will win and the Geordies will fail to win, leaving us 4th and praying.
