Re: Liverpool kit launch sparks anger among Hillsborough fam
nice kit. man utds is piss poor, even worse then ours

Re: Liverpool kit launch sparks anger among Hillsborough fam
I like the kit too.......cant beat a kit with a collar rebs
As for the scousers I too am sick of listening to their constant whining
How many different groups do they need to represent the families of those tradgically killed that day ? Are they telling us that they cant even agree amongst themselves on how best to represent the families ? They are fast becoming the most insufferable club in football

Sorry to be an absolute c**t here but have Liverpool FC ever marked the Heysel dead ??? I respect the Hillsborough dead but now they atre being used by their own to beat a drum for everything. The Club has lost all respect from me and I'm sure from others. This season has been a disaster on and off the pitch for them. And yet they believe that they are right and entitled to moan. I made a horrible comment after the Muamba and Petrov stories broke. Not proud of it but I said that when those two sad stories were in the news Dalglish was probably fuming that they were not Liverpool players because of the level of sympathy involved...

Didn't they offer Juve some kind of "friendship pact" when they played in 2005Bradywasking wrote:Sorry to be an absolute c**t here but have Liverpool FC ever marked the Heysel dead ???

As has been said, this is in particularly bad taste to bring this up on the anniversary of Bradford Fire. Imagine if another supporters group brought up a similar media campaign on the Hillsborough anniversary...

Re: Liverpool kit launch sparks anger among Hillsborough fam
it's the anniversary of bradford is it? it's not been mentioned by the media.
was a horrific accident, was about 6 or 7 at the time, remember my family totally gobsmacked at what happened there, must been horrific with that fire spreading and no way of getting out. wooden seats were dangerous, I think we still had some at the back of the old east stand back then...

Re: Liverpool kit launch sparks anger among Hillsborough fam
I agree the fans have over reacted about the kit, the flames are still on the dhirt are they not?
But I have views that might go against some on here about Hillsborough. In my opinion (based on reading several books and eye-witness accounts from both sets of fans, including the police cover up) the police murdered 96 fans that day.
If it happened at Ascot, heads would roll.
Read the book "Hillsborough: The truth" by Phil Scraton. It talks about the lengths police went to in order to hide facts. If the fans were guilty why would the police hide facts?
Not meaning to turn this into a Hillsborough debate, just saying that it's not as black and white as the media make out.
As I said earlier, slight over reaction from the Scousers

So the police literally herded fans into pens, causing the crush?? I thought that hundreds of scousers forced a gate to be opened and trampled through at pace.... Sorry, I've obviously been mistaken all these years. It seems that the police allowed crowds to build up then herded them into a pen. Sounds like something out of Africa, but this apparently happened.DarylAFC wrote:I agree the fans have over reacted about the kit, the flames are still on the dhirt are they not?

And apparently the greek police tried to do the same thing a few years ago at the champs league final - by all accounts they held fans back in the pub and forced them to drink more alcohol than the scousers wanted, they then grabbed innocent scousers that had no tickets but no intention of going to the match and tried to crush them into the stadium against their will
Those greek police are right b*****ds arent they ?

Shocking stuff. I also saw them literally throwing scousers into The Emirates two at a time at the Champions League quarter final a few years back. Couldn't believe my eyes.augie wrote:And apparently the greek police tried to do the same thing a few years ago at the champs league final - by all accounts they held fans back in the pub and forced them to drink more alcohol than the scousers wanted, they then grabbed innocent scousers that had no tickets but no intention of going to the match and tried to crush them into the stadium against their willThose greek police are right b*****ds arent they ?

As I said it's all my opinion which to be honest wont change. In my opinion, based on speaking to poeple who were there (Both sets of fans) and reading eye-witness accounts of what happened makes me sure that the police commited mass murder that day and it was covered up. As I said earlier, why hide facts from inquiries?
I admit Liverpool fans play the victim card too much which is disgusting and cringeworthy, but doesn't change my view that football fans were murdered that day.

Look up the definition of murder and I'm sure you'll change your mind. It will be manslaughter at best. And that is pretty tenuous considering the actions of hundreds of pissed up ticketless scousers.DarylAFC wrote:As I said it's all my opinion which to be honest wont change. We clearly wont agree on this so why not agree to disagree? I do see it as murder. Before I reserched Hillsborough in depth I thought it was 50/50, now I'm convinced it was more 99.9/0.01. In my opinion, it was mass murder. Just because the top cop was stupid doesn't absolve him from responsibility.frankbutcher wrote:Look up the definition of murder and I'm sure you'll change your mind. It will be manslaughter at best. Yes, the media should have reported the Bradford Anniversary. Yes, Liverpool fans play the victim card too often. And I hate Liverpool as much as the next guy. But we are all football fans and if this happened at Ladies day or the Epson derby, the cop would be infront of a judge. But because it was only football fans, it didn't matter.
