As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
A bad day has got worse with that result and we have the promise of an even shitter day tomorrow. Then we'll just have next week's confirmation of what most of us fear, with the promise of the coup de grâce to come the following weekend when Chelsea lift the CL!! This season has been like death through a thousand cuts. I hope Ivan Gazidis and the rest of the Wenger cronies are happy.

What would you prefer Hlebby......?
We scrape CL place again, Wenger stays with a new extended contract and more of the same until 2017
or........
We dont make CL place, Wenger falls on his sword or is retired and we get a fresh new manager with new ideas, staff, protocols etc......?
I've got so fed up with things that to be honest I'd take the second option if I thought those in power would take that course of action. Unfortunately, all we're likely to get is a slight combination of both, i.e. Wenger stays and we don't get a CL place, or if we somehow do, things will continue as they are and nothing will change.
Just wondering if we dont make CL would he at last do the decent thing? Considering the store he has so publicly placed in finishing top four for so long. Hes been dining of it for years now. Hes got fcuk all left.
What - give up a job where your employers love you, the players you made millionaires worship at your alter, where you're put under no pressure to succeed and get handsomely rewarded with over £7m a year to boot? He'd be a better man than most if he did - unless, of course, he had a conscious!!

And with that post you've just snatched away the little shred of hope I had left. Ya cruel bastard.
Wheres the rest of the Stella...........

Yup, although "in a nutshell" we knocked down our spiritual home and moved to a £450m stadium to sell our best players, not adequately replace them, increase ticket prices, and win diddly-squat for 7 years
7th FA Cup medal for Cashley. Say what you want about the bloke but fair's fair - that is a remarkable achievement (*word censored* though he obviously is).
Terrible. F*ck Drogba, Terry, Cashley, and the whole lot of them. Those plastics will be talking about "their glorious 2011-2012" season for the next decade. FFS.
Bayern will play with their best squad. They have lost 4 times in a row, they have lost the german title to BVB and the CL final is one week later, so plenty of rest.
Congratulations on doing the double Thomas!! There is no doubt that Dortmund have been the best side in the Bundesliga and deserve the success this season. They've played very attractive football for most of it and, best of all, are a side that actually wins - and all without your supposed star man Goetze!! Perhaps you can afford to let him go to us afterall?
