The showdown v the Baggies

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Looks like he is trying to plugs some holes in the midfield and forgetting we need to win this game

Who did you want at right back? I was fearing Djourou so consider Jenkinson a result...

The coq's looked OK to me too... Think I'd prefer that to Ramsey on his current form...?

Oh lord...

With the exception of the ox for the forehead I am not sure what other options we have - arteta, sagna and mertesacker all injured so it is to be expected that we have limited options with such an average squad
Of course going 4-4-2 would make most sense but what wenger knows about tactics wouldnt fill the back of a postage stamp  You really have to wonder why a team needing a win would go with 4-5-1 :banghead: :banghead:

Arsène Wenger has made three changes to his starting line-up to face West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

Carl Jenkinson replaces the injured Bacary Sagna at right back, while Andre Santos comes in for Kieran Gibbs on the left side of defence.

Francis Coquelin, meanwhile, replaces Aaron Ramsey at the heart of midfield. :high5:

Robin van Persie captains the side once more as he looks to end his prolific season on a high note in the West Midlands.

Team in full: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Santos, Song, Coquelin, Rosicky, Gervinho  :banghead: :banghead: , Benayoun, Van Persie.

Substitutes: Fabianski, Santos, Djourou, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Chamakh, Park.

:banghead:  :banghead:   :suicide:

Could be anything from a sublime 4-0 away win to a dismal performance and a 3-0 home win...........
