The showdown v the Baggies

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Onebard you are wasting your time mate cos kiwomya isnt a glass half full type of guy, he is a glass 90% full fan
It defies belief that any Gooner cannot see this team, squad and manager for what they are.......not good enough   Yes we have some quality players but not enough to make a quality team, certainly not enough to make a quality squad and we have a manager and tactics which will never win a big trophy again and for a big club like ours that is not good enough

most of us adjusted our expectations before you did mate - at least you've caught on at last.

You all do in the end.

Still hope the chavs lose but at least there is a silver lining if they win it. Can at least watch the game and enjoy it a little bit.

Yep, Augie, unbelievable, there'll only be one person to blame if the Chavs win the CL before us and that's the arsehole in charge.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

this :)

i can now watch the game and enjoy it (hoping for a bayern win) rather than watch it shitting myself every time chelsea attack.

and of course should chelsea somehow cheat or fluke their win to winning it, i will console myself with the thought that the swamp dwellers are far more pissed off about it than i am (and would probably head over to glory glory to amuse myself)

Just thought by all the celebrating we had won a trophy thats all. Did we win a trophy? Or are we celebrating scraggling 3rd place by virtue of the worst goalkeeping display I've ever seen?

Or maybe we're celebrating getting CL footie again (yawn), with all the fantastic new sinings and superquality players that brings? We always do well in that competition right?

Maybe its the fact that this makes Wenger even more comfortable and smug in his 6-7million pound job for winning nothing?

I dunno - what are we celebrating?

Hmm..not sure I agree, but anyways, there's more to be positive about today than negative, so I'm just happy we've cemented 3rd. Getting 3rd was important for so many reasons, and that has been my only focus for the last couple of months, so I'm very happy tonight.
yep... finishing 3rd and keeping the money men at the club happy... Arsene knows...

+1 .. we have had one chance in one final in all our history, they had two finals already and a bucket load of semis .. If they win and become and first london club to do so, well .. it's unfortunate for us not to set that landmark .. but they have worked more to deserve it than us .. no need to become bitter towards their efforts just the spuds are to ours ..

Bottom line is .. if it ruins Tottenham's year .. fuck it, there is a silver lining if the chavs became the first london club to win it.
