SAMIR NASRI

Post by Babatunde »

Samir Nasri interview on French television TF1 was interesting this evening.:

"People at Arsenal tried to make out that I came here for the money.
I hope they are watching me now, collecting my Premier League winners medal. I believe they have not won a trophy for many years now.
If all that I was interested in was money, the easiest decision would have been to stay at Arsenal, picking up my money every week and walking into the team. There are many people doing this right now at Arsenal.
I made the hard choice to come and fight for my place at a big club, where they never settle for second best and I have proved it correct. I now hope the Arsenal fans can get on with their lives and forget me, they should celebrate their third place achievement and I will focus on winning titles."

OUCH.

Still, I suppose Nasri and Clichy only went 'for the money' eh?

Where was he when City needed him today? Hiding as usual, we've experience enough of that at Arsenal. Good riddance to the fucking cowardly lesbian *word censored*.

This hurts. What a grade A *word censored*! Didn't want City winning the league for this very reason.

The guys 100% right.
A team with ambition to finish TOP, where you actually have competition for places and win trophys.
Cant argue with any of that. We need to move on and battle it out with Spuds and Barcodes for 3rd/4th

Glad to see we're his first thought upon winning the league.

Me thinks he's still a bit embarrassed by how badly he bottled his trip to our place so now he's overcompensating. Ashley Cole can claim to have had the better of his spat with us because he never bottled or hid in games against us. Nasri was wound up to the point that he was practically scared of the ball at the bowl and no winners medal will change that.

Should have signed Gervinho the result would have been the same.

Anyway, back to the bench next season, when they get better players .

He more or less said the same on Sky,and I have to say I can't disagree with him. The trouble with a lot of football fans is they don't like it when people speak the truth about their clubs. Wenger has allowed a terrible attitude to fester in the squad one that rewards mediocrity instead of achievement.

Pretty poor comments if true, he had just won the title, should have been celebrating rather than taking a dig at Arsenal fans.

I don't feel betrayed by Nasri and don't share the hatred that Gooners seem to have for him. He did end up in a team with better players and a winning mentality. He had half a good season for us and we got good money for him. He could have easily been replaced, Mata was a far better player but we decided to get forehead.

Yep.

I can just imagine as he went up to pick up his PL winners' medal, Nasri thinking to himself

'Bollocks. If only I could have proved myself against Alex Song, Gervinho and Keiran Gibbs...now this medal doesn't feel so worthy anymore'.

Uh huh that'll be what grates....

*word censored*!!!!!!!!!

If he'd played more of a part in winning it for them instead of sitting on his paycheque on the bench I might have been able to accept it. We'll only forget about him if he stops wumming us. Simple.

yup. it shows a total lack of class.

and he hardly covered himself in glory - 5 goals all season (28 games), compared to 9 for Walcott, and 6 for TV5.

for 24 million quid

you could argue that City won it in spite of him.

Look he right, you're far better off at other clubs to win trophies.

But the truth is he is a part time player for them. Yes you won a medal, but he should be thanking, Kun, yaya, Kompany and Hart for their superior ability and stronger mentality.

Same for Milner who has shared the role with Nasri.

If Nasri was a mentally strong as his team mates he could have helped us in that tinpot carling cup final when cesc was injured and could not play!!!!

Thats the point Nasri is surrounded by Silva and Ya Ya world class players if he had stayed with us he would have had Song and Ramsey :banghead: :banghead: around him He joined a team with much better players than us and a manager who has not got the mentality that 3rd is good enough
