ok season over, job done as I predicted back in the dark days of September. realistically we were never going to get anything better than what we have achieved after the poor summer last year and so I supported Wenger and the team to achieve that top 4 spot.
however just a top 4 position is not good enough from now on.it will be 8 years next May since we last won a trophy. Wenger deserved 1 more season to get it right but he should be made aware that this is his LAST chance.
worrying headlines on the official website already though such as "We're proud to qualify for the Champions League" and "Wenger - I can sleep better at night now" suggest the club thinks it has done enough. If it thinks that then there are big problems ahead. This should now be the start of something not the end.
Wenger should not be sleeping better, he should be terrified about how to improve the squad so that we actually win things, he should be thinking about how to go further in the CL not just qualifying for it. There should be noises coming from the club giving a suggestion that we need to spend big to compete for the title. and if not WHY not??
Has the complacency started already?

No more chances.

it seems like we're on the roundabout outside hotel California!!
Re: Has the complacency started already?
sick of saying it but the board wont step and do the right thing and will always view 3rd place as success esp now with city able to buy who they want, we need a good younger hungry manager who is up for the fight and can get more from the squad.

judging on these first few comments maybe the lack of ambition at the club has filtered down to supporters as well?
