why did Citeh and Arsenal finish ahead of ManUre and Sperz?

So that is the confusing thing for me.........so many times the "tinters" on here are happy to use the riches of other clubs as a reason why we aint getting near winning anything but then on other occasions they point to the likes of dortmund as an example of how money isnt everything - which is it ? :? Bottom line is that we havent got enough quality players and the coaching (or lack thereof) borders on shambolic and I have always said that I could accept not winning trophies as long as the club is doing everything it can to gain success but in my opinion they aint even close
think its harsh to characterise a system that secures 3rd as shambolic. I believe its possible to outstrip big money, we have done it this season finishing ahead of Chelski and the boys from the selfpitycity. I mention Dortmund and Montpellier because they have done even better. We can beat the millionaire Mancs but they have a big moneybased headstart (and ManUre own the refs too). Taking those factors into account I think third is a better than acceptable return even though I wanted more.

So man $hitty win the prem and 100,000 turn up for the parade, strange seeing as their ground capacity is 48,000 and rarely is it full. Maybe nasri invited all his lesbian friends along !?

The question should really be why there were only 100,000 at the parade, considering it had been so long since they last won the title? Especially given the fact that their fans often claim that Manchester is mainly full of City fans!! Perhaps they're not as big a club as the fans believed? :rubchin: :rubchin:

Like JD indicated, we used to get more than double that when trophies used to turn up on a fairly regularly basis and thus it wasn't such an occasion. Although no doubt City - much like Chelsea - will get bigger if they continue to win things as they'll attract the younger generation of supporters drawn to successful teams. :banghead:

Yes, and aren't they also supposed to the home club of Manchester.

Forever In United's shadow - they have earned the tag the Spurs of Manchester (albeit they have won the league once in the past 45 years, so they do have one up there)
