Season Ticket renewal request

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Season Ticket renewal request

Post by highburyJD »

Just came through. Thirteen hundred quid.
Wander if the club would have sent it pre-Saturday if we came 4th...

Any non-renewers on here? (think there were a few thinking about it)

Same here. £1,075. Don't think it's gone up in price. Not decided on renewal yet.

Price is the same as last year, what p*sses me off is the fact they want it all paid in the next two weeks. I'm thinking of ringing them and telling them to poke it.

Also see the friend transfer process, assuming this means if you cant make a game you cant give your ticket to a friend - they have to buy a red membership and use that to activate (raking more dough in for the club).

Exactly. And you can guarantee any ticket transfers to mates are now illegal and they won't turn a blind eye even at face value. *word censored*. :banghead:

RedAction Twitter currently waxing lyrical about how "handy" it will be to transfer tickets from friend to friend under the new scheme. :banghead:

No, but you have to be a member, which costs money. :banghead:

I looked hesitantly earlier but my wife's ST didn't seem to have her TX credits from this year. Even proceeded to basket and still no change in the price. The TX history is listed in the account but not part of the renewal.

Anyone else notice/experienced this?

I do cook, i think its another way of fleecing fans of money in order to get more red members on the scheme and also act as in incentive to punish season ticket holders by removing use of ticket and then effectively selling these tickets again (as original ST would have paid for them in advance).

I think what frank has said is that this "handiness" is just another way of the club getting in extra cash and really and truly is charging for the same ticket twice and surely that aint ethical ? If I have paid for the ticket already surely it is up to me if I loan it to a friend or even charge face value to a friend ?
