Michael Owen
on a free? good player to have on the bench if he can stay clear of injury, got to be a better option than Bendtner or Gervinho and still only 32...has only played 140 games in 8 years so must be fresh

Yes, you slag... I'd rather have Douglas Bader than Gervinho, Bendtner, Chamakh and Park.

His stables are up north though mate, so I don't see him moving Saarrf knoworrimean....AW shoulda signed him when he was available after leaving the toon...maybe old now, but still has a striker's instincts...

Re: Michael Owen
Imagine how many shirts he'd sell - it'd be a huge money spinner. Would also offer more than Vela, Chamack, Gervinho and Bendtner combined.
Worth a punt.

Re: Michael Owen
Considering his injury record he would fit in great at arsenal

Not sure if there is any sarcasm in that or not...hugh jardon wrote:Imagine how many shirts he'd sell - it'd be a huge money spinner. Would also offer more than Vela, Chamack, Gervinho and Bendtner combined.

Re: Michael Owen
In his day, Lethal. Is still a magnificent finisher but the injury record is terrible.
