As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I wonder what type of biscuits they were....
Wonder if they played soggy biscuit?
regarding RVP i think wenger would rather let him leave on a free than sell him this summer...he had his hand forced with the lesbian last year and RVP is 10x more important to the team than he ever was - cue a summer of rumours with no solid announcement of what's going on with the contract

It won't be Wenger's choice, it will be Kroenke's. Cold hearted business decision - do I get £25m now or nothing in 12 months time. Same choice made with the lesbian, and whilst I agree that he wasn't as important to the team Wenger was prepared to play hard ball but was supposedly over-ruled by the owner and board.
There isn't a chance that Kroenke will allow his most valuable player to walk for nothing. He'll be going this Summer. Lets just get it done quickly and milk those twats from the Etihad for every penny possible.
We can even bring in Emile Heskey or Michael Owen on a free now

I reckon by the end of July and he is still dithering and we havent bought anyone that most of this forum will have wished he had gone back then too
Yes, that quote hadn't gone unnoticed !
So if we'd have signed him in January, where would we have finished - somewhere between 6th and 12th probably. Its all very well saying he should have been sold - by the same token you've said that you would boo Chamakh if he were to play again and he was supposedly our back-up striker. So presumably you would have wanted Park playing up front on his own then
If of course you are suggesting that he should have been sold and replaced then by who? Cologne made it clear that Podolski was not leaving then as they were in a relegation battle and their fans would have caused a riot. So who would you have signed if Robin left back then ?
is it in Kroenke's best interests to sell RVP?
We would make another fantastic profit, Podolski can come in and with Jack back we should be competing for the all important top 4 again. So will there be pressure on Wenger from Kroenke not to sell RVP? Possibly not.
and that is why I think the board is the biggest problem at Arsenal not the manager.
Can Usmanov not intervene? I'm sure he wants RVP to stay. I wish he would fucking take over.

Well if he was a board member and encouraged to actively participate in the running of the club then yes
But of course we don't want his sort (i.e. rich investors), and he's a ManUre fan, and the root of all evil and a crook......oh you know the rest (just ask HighburyJD or one of the Red Action heroes)

We are partly owned by the second richest person in the UK and make no use of his resources. We could potentially rival any financial offers from Citeh and the like if only we'd ask for some assistance, not like he'd refuse either! Incredible.
They obviously had Nice biscuits - which necessitate a particularly deft touch in dunking so as not to leave a soggy mush back in the cup or worse; on the carpet.

Now if they had used Rich Tea...
So i was right they did play Soggy Biscuit
Yeah, they did. 'Course AW's been practicing for years with Petits Buerres and his dexterity reduced PV4 to tears awhile back. Robin, perhaps unwisely, thought they'd have chocolate biscuits to er...sweeten things up.
