I see that Villareal B got forecably relegated because of this as well.

Does anyone find this a bit surreal.

6 years ago, we were duking it out with them to get a place in the european cup final.
Only a few years ago, we played them in their yard and they totally outplayed us.

Now today they are sent into the spanish championship.

Liverpool have fallen too but not this far. To be fair Villarreal were punching above their weight for many years at the top table. I always liked the way they played, shame.

Was surprised but not half as surprised when Champions League finalist in 2004 look like they are heading down to the third tier of the french league. Essentially, the thing they have in common is that they both have small fan bases that is equal to Charlton. It's amazing what a bit of investment can make to a team's fortune.

Was thinking something along those lines myself - an area of real need for us so why shouldnt we pick the bones off their team ? Makes a lot more sense signing these players than a 57 year old senna
