McDowell its over dude...no more - Hallelujah

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just to clarify a few things on M'vila, to save replying to everyone: 1) We have a long-standing interest in the player, & bid last summer

The player would like to join. AFC massive compared to Rennes, & Wenger is a big factor. Would prefer to work with French manager

There has been no official contact with the player or club SINCE last summer

I'm more intersted in the dross that we should be shipping out than I am about the new dross we are signing.

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie's excessive wage demands could prevent bids from even the mighty Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City.

Net spend of PL clubs the past 5 years. Obviously we have the best profit  and teams like Wigan and Fulham have spent nearly as much as us, Newcastle have spent more. FFS we are cheapstakes

To be fair, I'm sure there are other clubs with a huge amount of dross in their squad as well, we just aren't aware of them as we don't follow them.

If you take Citeh for example, they have shite like Santa Cruz, Gonzalez, Weiss, Nielsen, Assulin, Nimely, Boyata, Hargreaves, Michael Johnson etc who are all surplus, likewise with Man Utd; players like Fabio, Macheda, Park, Anderson, Owen, Kuszczak, Bebe are all unwanted. So we are not the only ones packing a whole load of dross, everyone else has their fair share of them.

Sickening to see Manchester fucking City mentioned in the same line as those clubs.

Driving me mad...one hand, captain, loves Arsenal etc etc Then wants £200k+......what is he,this, anything? Feeder club to Man City or any other 'super power' ? Debts paid of quickly, fair play will enable us to compete with best in Europe? Not seeing any of it. Apologies if grumpy but kids up since 5am, tired and very AFC f@@@@d off....and they want my season ticket renewals (£2800) in full by June...haven't got it at moment. So they will not give a fuck and lose me and pass it down the list. Bollocks to it!!! Where is that 'nescafe' hand gesture emoticon when you need it most?!
