R.I.P Vidal Sassoon

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

To pay him for more seasons would have been hard considering his knee problems, so we have to get someone new. Nile Ranger may be an option one day, but for now we go with Steve Bould. A man who would not have needed to visit Mr Sassoon for a long time, but who metaphorically and literally stood head and shoulders above other candidates for the assistant manager's job. Personally I find his appointment brill; cream of the crop is Mr Bould.
Enough, enough, enough.

Quartz wins the prize for the funniest post. :D

The rest of you need to cut it out.
Thanks Olgit.

A compliment much better than getting the hair dryer treatment such as Ferguson does to his players. But players are not boy scouts on bob a job week, they get up to all kinds of things, as do managers, who can get caught with their fingers in the honeypot, produced by worker bees from the beehive. If City win the title it will for Fergie constitute a real blow, dry eyes will be a rarity amongst United fans as their rivals win. But we English should be used to it, Australia usually win the cricket and like to insult the pom. Ade Edmondson's character in the Young ones is the type we need, a real aggressive character to take the game to them and win. Anyway, I am off to see the restored Cutty Sark, I have always had a thing for clippers.
