You do realise he hasn't played for a year. How the fcuk did he do his knee in that time? Assuming he didn't, how did our useless *word censored* not see it?mikehutch86 wrote:Makes sense really, get a long standing niggly injury treated while the season is over, with the hope that he is able to return and have a normal pre season. Was probably delayed until recently as he hoped to make the Euro squad.
Although the same as past happenings with the medical team we will probably not see Jack until late October after another 2 operations and a dosage of horse placenta being rubbed on his knee and ankle!

I think his career is over, he'll be playing for Stevenage in two years time.

Is there one of those little faces on here for 'yawn'? We'll see him again in about October - by which time we will be well off the pace for the title and Wenger will have his excuse. Anyway, hope he has his Chelsee shirt on tonight.

Re: Wilshere - New Surgery
he appears to be delighted that his friends John Terry, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard won the CL.
He is going to have earn my support again if he returns.
I had a look at some of the tweets posted by our players on Saturday - Sagna in my opinion is the only 1 who can come out with any credit.

What did Sagna say? Please I need to hear that at least one Arsenal player is on our side. Agree with what you say about Wilshere too.Red Member wrote:he appears to be delighted that his friends John Terry, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard won the CL.

I can't remember exactly, but I just remember he appeared to be the only Arsenal player NOT to congratulate Chelsea on winning and watching them win made him want to go out and win things with Arsenal too.

Nice to hear. I think I saw Wilshere on the news last night waving to the Chelsee coach as it went by.Red Member wrote:I can't remember exactly, but I just remember he appeared to be the only Arsenal player NOT to congratulate Chelsea on winning and watching them win made him want to go out and win things with Arsenal too.

Sagna said, "Looking at them just wanna make me celebrate something with my team as well.."
Felt genuinely sad for him after reading that.

Yep, he was stood in between gunner_ace and SurreyGooner who haven't been on here this morning, still nursing hangovers from Chelsea's win on Saturday night.ThomasMitchell wrote:Nice to hear. Still can't believe that any Arsenal fan could have wanted that - truly unbelievable.SteveO 35 wrote:Yep, he was stood in between gunner_ace and SurreyGooner who haven't been on here this morning, still nursing hangovers from Chelsea's win on Saturday night.ThomasMitchell wrote:Nice to hear. Re: Wilshere - New Surgery
Must admit its good to see him back in training but am I the only one that worries if he'll be the same player?
Once upon a time Diaby was (arguably) a good player and then he got a long term injury and hasn't been the same since. Ramsey hasn't looked the same player since his leg break either and you can add Eduardo to that list as well.
With all the stressful stuff that has gone on since Jack last played properly (the loss of Cesc, Nasri and RVP) it seems as if all our hopes have been burdened on him coming back and being a world class central midfield player.
I hope he comes back and performs at the level we know he can but after 15 months out of action is a long time and I worry that he may not hit the heights we thought he once would.
