Another bowl in the making

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yeh, although it's funny now I presume they won't sell those seats and open them when the next stand along is built allowing those seats a full view of the pitch.

their stadium is going to look more like the celtic park then our bowl, but it's good stuff, the more people going to grounds to watch the matches, the better. Just look how nice the Bundesliga is.

worked out well for us, didn't it? It's more about quality not quantity. And I doubt Wolves will attract more fans, can't quite put my finger on why that is though...

Interested to know in what sense. I think their fans are up with the Stokeys (except scfc64 of course :D ) in the league of morons with their pathetic little club bitterness and songs

well i've never seen Arsenal lose at Molineux :barscarf: :barscarf: so that is my fond memories, and like all clubs they have some morons but also some decent supporters, i got on a packed train from Shrewsbury to Wolves, it was full of Wolves fans, i was shitting a brick, hoping they wouldn't notice i was gooner going to the match..but typically one of them spotted my scarf under my jacket and i thought fuck, but they were some of the nicest people i have ever met, one bloke and an old woman even offered to give up there seat to me and another bloke offered me a can of lager, but i thanked them and polite refused - so not all bad,

So good luck to them, some real top fans that have followed them from Div 1, all the way down to Div 4 and then back in to the PL.

"Premier League, fucking shit! Premier League, fucking shit!"

Fuck em. I actually never visited Molineux but not too fussed that I won't have the chance any time soon. The Little Club League will have a new champion next year!

Where's your money going on our new champion Dan. With Birmingham not getting promoted surely the Stokeys have got a clear run at it now?

It's gotta be surely. I don't think anyone else even comes close, very possibly Villa? Although as they like to remind us, how could a small club ever have won the European Cup? :banghead:

Just because we have a sanitized souless stadium, doesn't mean they all have to be like that. To have a proper atmosphere, I feel that the standings would have to be reintroduced in England. They are quite safe these days and the argument made in the early 90's can no longer hold itself.
