I don't see how clubs could possibly let vertonghen go to spuds. Wasn't he at our game vs newcastle in march as well?

You would think city would be going all in for him as well to pair with his compatriot, Kompany, since Toure is kind of chubby and past his prime and Savic is probably the worst player in the league. Whenever Lescott or Komp was missing they usually had some trouble.

I must confess I haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion but seeing as he plays with Tommy V for Belgium could anyone tell me if we're missing a trick here? I know we have plenty of centre-halves but Djourou and Squidboy don't count.

Etienne Capoue anyone? Who the fuck is he? Image

http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/arsen ... ne-capoue/
both of Rupert Murdoch’s papers say Wenger is not so keen on M’Vila with a reporting asking price of £22.5million and interest from the likes of Manchester City and Inter Milan.

Unlike M’Vila, Capoue is not heading to Euro 2012 with France and is yet to play for the national team despite appearances at youth level.
Sounds about fucking right

eff me. i'm glad I was sitting down when i read this :
ARSENAL last night emerged as contenders to sign Belgian star Eden Hazard.

Hazard wants a summer move to the Premier League and was believed to be choosing between Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea.

But Lille director Frederic Paquet revealed another club is also in the running for the £32m-rated playmaker – and Starsport understands it is the Gunners.
wtf. i don't believe it.

Kalou is the type of guy who will score against shit teams. I wouldn't be hugely dissapointed if he signed, but only if he was sort of a 'bonus' buy
I thought Bosingwa was rubbish in the final
Kalou is pants, pray we don't sign him
- if we want a Chavski cast off we should take Yossi

I would be happy with that from what I have seen of him.

If we sign him that would mean RVP is surely off, as we can't have 4 left footed strikers (including Campbell) and Giroud is also left footed.

Anyone else tired of this Hazard lad? Whoring himself around and making demands about playing time and position. If I were a fan of one of the clubs with any chance of signing him I'd be pretty fed up.
