Of course you did!
What happened? Did Bruce Willis and Madonna cancel at the last minute?

Reeled in again DB10 !
No we were going to be interviewed for some London Weekend program "now at 6" ?? or something like that ,I was Living in Westport Ct and Working in Manhattan and the press found it incredulous that someone would come all that way for game that according to most we couldn't win by 2 Goals .
Watson who had recently beaten Benn was chosen because of his Arsenal link ,Radford for obvious reasons and moi for no reason I could see ,but had been informed of me by Arsenal . I agreed only because they would pick me up from Heathrow take me to my dads place in maida vale to change and then onto the LWT where Radford was ,we then picked Watson up at the De Beauvoir estate in Hackney N1 .
Watsons trainer who was a steward @ Arsenal hence the Football link (Watson didn't know much about football but liked the players when he went for physio) was an odious creep and insisted on getting in the car even though he wasn't part of the deal.
The interview on the pitch never took place beacuse of the horrendous traffic but by phone link they spoke first to Radford and then to Watson, when asked what the score would be he turned to us and asked and the Raddy the King and I said 2-0 !
We got to Liverpool and went to the Box Office where they had a ticket in the main stand for Raddy and Watson but none for the trainer who then caused a stink .
Radford knew the Liverpool secretary Mary who came out and offered John 2 seats in the Arsenal end which he accepted ,and I then gave mine to a pal outside who didn't have one so we watched the match together .
After the game O'leary spots Raddy in the crowd and points him out to George Graham who invites him onto the pitch to celebrate ,Radford declined stating "I've had my day this is theirs" ,Top man great company and i left him there to
meet up with my pals ,ended up having to drive a minibus full of drunks from Walton hospital to Highbury . . . . but that's another story ! A Great night and one I was sober at .........which was nice !
Thanks for the opportunity DB10 ,quality lead in !
