Here we go again

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Here we go again

as I said before I am not going to post much during the summer - too many other sports I am interested in :D

but I can't believe what I have seen from Arsenal this month. We have guaranteed CL football so why is no one being bought?

so far since the end of season

Chelsea - not content with winning the CL have strengthened again by buying Eden Hazard
Man Utd - just heard they are spending £12M on Kagawa from Borussia Dortmund, the german champions

Man City - doesnt really matter what they do, they will buy who they like

Spurs - for some reason Verthongen wants to go there instead of us. Why?

as far as I can see so far this summer we have let our most experienced GK leave (and not been replaced) and Wenger has had morning coffee with RVP. Not very productive so far.

I will come back towards the end of June to see if anything has happened by then.

Well the Window hasn't opened yet.

Plus isn't this really the same amount of players as we've purchased?

As I'm sure you're aware, we signed Podolski.

I'm not saying that he's better than Hazard or Kagawa (I have no idea), but your argument is intentionally skewed by deciding not to mention Podolski.
