Bendtner; The Leg-end

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

For some reasons quick Nick is linked to a couple of Bundesliga teams. Even the current champion Borussia Dortmund should be interested (and no, not for trading Götze in  ). Not sure what I should think about that...

Cheers, Thomas

I think you should probably think that Borussia Dortmund are exceptionally lucky. Here, I have put down my thoughts about Bendtner in the form of a song, a song by the Backstreet Boys, as I tend to do when pissed, this basically spells out his strengths and what you can expect if you get him

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EylafK1IwHE

He is called Bendtner, he rapes, defenders,
Believe, when I say, I want Nick to stay,
His touch is so good, he's class, he makes Cesc Fabregas,
Look like Wreh, I want Nick to stay

Lionel, you have never had a touch like Nick,
Iniesta, there's no chance your passings half as slick,
Oh Puyol, he could fucking skin you any day,
I want Nick to stay

His pace, is blinding, each pass, is finding,
His man in spa-a-ace, what more can I say?
I want Nick to stay

Cristiano, he can step over it better than you,
Aguero, if you score one he'll score fucking two,
Maybe three, he's the best striker to ever play,
I want Nick to stay

Now that he's left us we're falling apart,
We've Fraizer and Ji up front, noooo,
No matter where you go, I want you to know,
You scored at Newcastle so,

You are, the greatest- Pele, just face it
He is, he is,
He is, he is,

He's fucking mint man

I'm gutted that you're on your way,
Went into Greggs the other day,
Said that I don't want a pasta bake,
I want Nick to stay

Can't believe, that they went and called security,
Can't believe, that they fucking went and tasered me,
Maybe I, shouldn't have flashed my penis in their face,
But I want Nick to stay

Fucking hell, now I'm on the sex offenders list,
Just because I miss Bendy when pissed,
Anyway, hope that helps Thomas, lets just say,
I want Nick to stay

Cos I want Nick to stay

Gan on Bendy son, another league to fucking destroy

Borussia, champions of Germany again, and yet they're after Bendy?

perhaps with some decent management he might, just might, not be shit. We've seen it with denmark, he actually scores for them.

 just in training for me and SteveO's world tour- Diaby and Bendtner, two pretty mint footballers to be fair (still a bit embarrassed by that Dan Smith tackle, the only thing stopping Diaby from being an absolute class act is is the injuries that seem to have stemmed from that day, not exactly Sunderland's fault but why the fuck that useless waste of space got a game and why he made that tackle are beyond me, Smith's career is finished and he's still a cocky knob working in a call centre, absolute twat)

Was mint for us as well- play him in behind the striker and watch the sparks fly, he's not an out and out centre forward, he's a creative deep lying forward- no surprise that many managers see something in the lad like, he's a talent and I dont care how many people disagree, he'll never score 25 a season but he is a class player to put in behind a good goal scorer, for us its just a shame we have Sessegnon in that position, its really the goal scorer we need at the minute. If Sess goes (been linked with Man City) I'd take Bendy in a flash

I did think that tbh mate, thankfully I'm not the kind of scratter that visits greggs so was unsure of their menu, although I think in general thats probably a good thing! A bit of research leads me to suggest that a steak bake may have been a more accurate line, but I dont think it would have flowed as well, artistic licence yer knaa

 mind I still think I did well to reference Christopher Wreh in a song, there's not many poets who've given him a mention
