Calm down mate, he didn't put "FACT" at the end of his post, so it probably isn't true.

Or as g88ner said...it started off at 6.5M, then 7M and just last week it was 7.5M now 8M? Maybe the GIC is negotiating on a month to month package :?:

Surely that should persuade Wenger to sign him now

Yep, M'Vila's injury pretty much sealed his Arsenal transfer.

Unfortunately I do believe that Gazidis and co are going down the same roads as the Red Sea pedestrians did a few years back, hardly a day went past In the late 90's early 2000's without Spurs being linked to this one or that one in a bid to appease their fans.
Many many times a Spurs delegation used to even fly in for supposed talks when half the time the player didn't know who Tottenham were.
This way the club can say we made great efforts to sign this one or that one without having to actually sign them.
Last years Mata debacle was a classic example of how a low bid can be made and then the club just melts away from it when more serious buyers emerge !

We did our business after Nasri and Fab had gone and we very nearly needed up without Arteta ,our one and only quality signing of last year. Even then it was a risk as he didn't have a medical and of course is injury prone and almost 30 .

I sincerely hope we learn from last several years mistakes but if we dont then we are doomed to another season of mediocrity .

Yah. Mourinho won't be interested if he is injured for 4months.

Vertonghen agree's Spurs deal!

Post by Arsenal Till I Die »

@SkySportsnews: Ajax and Belgium defender Jan Vertonghen confirms he will join Tottenham within the next few days. More on SSN tonight.

Basically confirming what we all knew would happen anyway.

Don't believe everything the press writes. Nothing is confirmed. Still player of #Ajax
