As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Spot on. The "People's" Communist Party in China would be proud.
Absolute joke of a club. What's the point if fans cannot ask the questions that need to be asked?

Yes I know mate, anyone with an iota of noggin knows this is a PR stunt and nothing else - meant to appease any sheeple even contemplating waking up to the truth - but like you say it'd be worth getting thrown out - maybe even a group of Gooners being 'Escorted' from the place - would make good press....the way they choreograph these things, is an art in itself of publicly sweeping all the lies and shyte under the carpet, while pretending to listen and care - it simply keeps a lid on the whole thing and keeps the sheeple in their happy, smiley, hazey In wenger we trust wonderland completely comatose....Big Jobs and a Load of Fucking Bollocks!!!
Anger doesn't even come close.
But I would expect nothing less from the club so it is the ast that makes me angry - what exactly does these people see their role as ? What do they hope/expect to get out of these meetings ? The club going through a charade is understandable but tippy tapping with nice soft questions serves no purpose for the ast or us "regular" fans
I would imagine that they are happy to be invited to meetings, to get inside Arsenal and have a cup of tea and a biscuit with the great Ivan himself. With no real agenda to actually make a difference for the average Arsenal fan, who feels they have had the heart and sol ripped out of their club to be replaced by a large walleted sycophant who doesn't sing, buys all the club crap and is happy to toe the party line of "one Arsene Wenger" and renew season tickets without even thinking about the financial element.
Any large uproar or public dissention and the club would withdraw their offer to meet and "discuss".
So everybody, smiles, nods politely, and agrees with everything so Arsenal have "consulted fans" or done things "with agreement" and everbody is happy for another season of neglect and mismanagement.
It will be hard to get answers to anything in this format and the Yanks are the best at pure rhetoric and Gazidis is better than most. However I would ask.
Over the last few years we have been promised that our policy will still let us compete for the top prizes. Our transfer policy last Summer was a debacle and extremely badly managed by people who are paid big money to manage and they failed miserably. We have consistently seen our better player's leave because of our capacity to compete for the Prem League and for the Ch League. Who is accountable for last summer and is someone going to be brought to task for this ?
Also what are your plans this summer to do something different than we have done heretofore , firstly to stop the trend whereby of us becoming a selling club, and secondly to help us to compete for ALL the top prizes.

Can't agree more, as soon as the meeting and questions got a little to hot for them they ask for the questions in advance. As soon as they did that this meeting became a sham and a PR stunt.
Any answers will be carefully scripted to sound impressive and won't answer any of the questions we want.
The most interesting thing will be the questions that we know people will have submitted but are not 'asked' on the day. Thats when we know what they are running from.
