Yes this is the quote from "expert pundit" twitchy juniorNote the reference to song as an anchor man in midfield and also how redkrapp also wanks himself into oblivion thinking about the "quality" of song's passing. What is really ironic is that on the same page it lists the top 13 midfielders with the highest passing accuracy and yes you have guessed it......song is nowhere on that list
Beside that list it has another list that contains the names of the top 14 midfielders at creating goal chances and guess what.........song is nowhere on that list too
Lastly is shows a list of the top 13 goalscoring midfielders and yet again the lumbersome cameroon bufoon is nowhere to be found. Of course it wont surprise many of you to see that one Arsenal player is listed on all three lists........step forward mr arteta who has been our best midfielder by a distance this season

It really amazes me how blinded some pundits get watching song create the odd chance here or there with an brilliant pass - it seems that 85 minutes of pure shite can be wiped out with 1 fcuking pass![]()

And I seem to remember every year for the past 3, I have been shouting out for the club to buy Arteta because he has everything a PL midfielder should have. Still I have never worked in football for one day so know nothing. Strange how I could tell that even at Everton he was far superior than Alex Song and Aaron Ramsey in every way, and seemingly the statistics would bear it out.augie wrote:The anchor role I’m giving to Alex Song. Still, as I say, fans need to keep their opinions to themselves. We all know nothing.
I hope when Arsene watches a film or reads a book he never passes comment, because to the best of my knowledge he's never worked as an actor or a writer for a single day in his life

I have never worked a day in biology but I would like to hear Arsenes views on vaginas. I reckon he is very highly qualified to comment on those as he is the biggest cu....SteveO 35 wrote:

Re: The Alex Song Question
Disgraceful first half today - the way he abandoned Coquelin to hold the middle by himself on his second(?) premier league start made me fume. I dont think he was behind the ball at any point the *word censored*.
Second half he actually looked a useful player when he decided that the concept of defending was not entirely beneath him.

If we get rid of Song, the healing can begin.

Runner up in player of the season poll on arsenal.com apparently. So, RVP apart, Song was our player of the season according to some fans???

Re: The Alex Song Question
His flashy assists made him some kind of last minute hero for some fans. It amazes me on how much dissent I get on twitter when i say the... well truth about him.

Don't worry mate. There are so many football fans - including many that follow Arsenal - that have no real clue about the game!!

"Ooh, look!! Alex Song (swoon) just flicked one over the top for RVP to volley home!! That's 3 times this season!!! Fuck me that cancels out the 200 misplaced passes!"

Re: The Alex Song Question
I like him just playing him the wrong way if left arsenal I bet there will be host of top teams after him and become one of there top players
Re: The Alex Song Question
Lots more dross than song at he arsenal

There is no doubt that he would be a superstar at the shammers or bolton or wigan but at any top level club with any small concept of structure and tactics, this guy would be told to shape up or f**k off

Re: The Alex Song Question
If he left us where do u think he will leave to ?

That doesnt make him good enough for Arsenal though does it ? Plus he is without doubt the most average of those "first choice players" whilst the rest of the dross cannot be classed as first choices.
There is no point anybody stating that he is not a DM and shouldnt be employed that was cos if he isnt then he doesnt play cos without doubt arteta and wilshire would be ahead of him for the other two central midfield spots plus I would argue that rosicky in the form he finished the season in should be ahead of song too
