How far would you go?
The Club as it stands is under-achieving. I'll tell you something for free... things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. Kroenke is in it for the money and nothing else. Trophies are inconsequential. The Club will only make changes when it gets hit in the pocket. With a 40,000 season ticket waiting list, they won't be making any changes to the management for some years. Season Ticket prices will go up next season. I'll bet big money on that.
So..................
How far would you go to demand change?

Re: How far would you go?
I would protest.
I would avoid buying anything except match tickets.

Re: How far would you go?
I'd join a protest
Certainly wouldn't cause vandalism though... nor would I stop attending games altogether. Well, I'm not intending to at the moment, even though my disillusionment has seen my attendance slide dramatically last season

Re: How far would you go?
Only selecting one is greatly restricting cos I would have voted for all of the top 5
I believe that it will need a major fan backlash for things to change cos kroenke and wenger won't do it voluntarily - IMO we need a real public show of dissent like prolonged chanting during a game or an organised plan leaving thousands of seats vacant for a televised game - yes some will argue that the club won't care cos they will have sold the tickets regardless but believe me a club that is so highly geared towards their public image as ours is, will not want tv pictures beamed all over the world showing thousands of empty seats and having the commentators expelling why the seats are empty. Maybe it is easy for me to say but I would readily pay for my seats that day plus two extra ones in my kids names just to leave them vacant cos I know otherwise the club will sell them to some plastic jcl c**t and it would be a small price to pay if it helped turn the heat up on these c**ts

Personally I would do the protests thing before or after a game. I don’t like the idea of the banner as all the Blackburn fans who had their Venky / kean ones last season just looked like idiots to me. Violence against the posh seats is always an option too as they probably cost a bit and wrecking them would make the yank moneyman listen.
The thing is though their are still so many AKB’s knocking about that if you did try to arrange a legitimate protest you would most definitely be told to eff off down the lane. Their would be an immediate twatter backlash from ‘real’ AFC fans (much like the bin bag jokes last season), and a deluge of smartarse forum and tweets along the lines of ‘I support my team through thick and thin’ and ‘wenger has worked miracles at this club therefore he deserves our unwavering support’.
Anyway its all
to me as we’ve all been down this road before, were doomed if we do, and doomed if we don’t. Untill the results start getting really bad and we lose this mythical 4th spot that the AKB’s treasure so dear, and laud lord wenger for achieving 15 years in a row, don’t you know, don’t you know, I think we are stuck in a state of quasi limbo. i.e. the results arnt good enough, but they’re not bad enough to cause any real fan backlash.

Sadly I think you are right. The AKB squad far outnumbers us so any sort of protest will fail but if one is organised I'll be over there in a shot to lend a handgunner_ace wrote:Personally I would do the protests thing before or after a game. Protest.
Although I sadly think those actually willing to protest are by far in the minority. Need a mob of a couple of thousand to make a real noise, and dont think its posible.

Boycott for me (not Geoff). Have copped-out and renewed my membership but shan't be attending any more games unti tangible change is effected.
I just can't put myself through watching our insipid formation and players picked on some sort of heirachy as opposed to merit any longer. That and Wenger's set-your-watch 60 minute substitutions which make no tactical sense. I don't have enough hair left for this shit any longer.
Nothing will change until there are no more assets to strip. The club can then trot out some propaganda along the lines of "we are in a difficult situation, we don't have the quality and are lucky to compete for the Europa League palces".

Re: How far would you go?
Protest will never happen, not unless BSM back it and promote it.
Frank, you know as well as I do that “the regular match going gooners home and away are still way off of full protest”
I travel around with about 300 gooners every away game, and even within those 300 there is still a divide. These are not keyboard warriors or JCL’s but long term arsenal fans of different ages that travel home and away every game. There is stil even a difference of opinion within the HERD over this very issue. Many wanting protest but others wanting to kick off if they hear talk of it. The way BSM handles the protest before the villa game was testament to the followers they have. Many old school fans came out the woodwork for that day and it had credibility in numbers. So much so that even the die hard akb’s came along and supported the concept of the march,
These are the kind of people the need to protest in order for the club to take note. The loud hardcore fans protesting. Its all well and good having media protests with plenty of twats that don’t go games, or some little kids that have no credibility but unless the hardcore protest it wont work.
I could easy arrange a protest with the amount of gooners I know but many will back down due to the grief they will get from other mates and more influential fans that wont accept the idea of protest.
Basically you cant win and we have to accept that no matter what happens protest wont happen unless its endorsed by AST, BSM or another credible influential group of fans that youngers will look up too.
