AST vs Gazidis

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Question about the vision of the club. Us as fans want to win things.

Ivan: club not just in it for CL qualification. They too want to win things.Says those accusations are cheap.

Ivan: Massive escalation in player wages and fees in last decade. More so than forecasted pre stadium move.

Ivan: many clubs not self sustainable

Question on the club's vision: long answer basically says Emirates was the long-term plan but City, Chelsea and United have moved past us.

Ivan: fans are paying the price for outside money coming into footy. as well as owners

As opposed to last summer when he went for quantity rather than quality.

A bit harsh Quartz.
I personally considered Arteta and, to some extent Benayoun showed more commitment and class than several other regulars in the team.
