get rid of Van Persie

Post by Red Member »

if he wanted to stay he would have signed by now.
he clearly doesnt so when are we getting rid of him?

I said on here in January that we should sell him then so to save a repeat of last summer.
This was considered stupid at the time. How many now wish we had gone back then?

are you fucking stupid? he's going to wait after the Euros, see if Wenger has shown the ambition in the transfer market, have a talk with him and then decide whether to stay. Either way he isn't going to sign a fucking contract, if he does stay he'll use the 12-13 season as an indicator as to whether to stay.

How many times does it need to be said? Why would he commit to us? If he's going to give it one last chance why tie himself down? :rubchin: :censored:

Robin I hope you had somebody at the ast meeting last night to report back on the plans going forward for the club and if you did then I expect that you will tell your wife to skip the euro finals and get back to london to start packing your bags straight away
How any player with any quality and even a small bit of ambition, would stay at this club is beyond me - it is run by c**ts for c**ts and the proper older fans are irrelevent

Agree .. People don't seem to learn from history ..

I think the proof was in the last AST meeting .. same scenario happened last year with Nasri didn't it and with Flamini before .. i.e. the club and the player agree not to discuss the contract until the end of the summer, and so the board/Wenger/Gazidis ended up avoiding any fan backlash during these meetings if another star player had been sold ..

Towards the closing of the transfer window, the aforementioned player gets a move (if a good offer comes in) and so the club is saved from a fan Q&A about it and leave it for Wenger to put the doubters at ease with the start of the new season .. cycle repeats itself ..

RVP is as good as gone .. Theo is also as good as gone .. in the sense that they will not sign another contract and either be sold if a good offer came in or left to run down their contracts for this last year .. which wenger will be hoping they will put on a good show (ala Flamini) so they can get good deals with new clubs when they leave.

In summary, case closed ..

The only way we'll keep RVP is if he gets crocked at the Euro's...

I really hope you guys on here are as wise and as pissed off as I am regarding the whole Van Persie affair. I dont want to listen to posters going "well if he does not want to be here sell him".
Those fans are the ones that should be given their own forum.
Anyway losing RVP now which we surely have done is the final nail in this regimes coffin. Something so simple like not giving Djourou as new contract and Signing Vertongha would have been a correct step.
This time its not money, RVP does not want to waste his time with the amount of shite we currently have here at Arsenal.
Reason he is going would be as follows,
Arshavin- still here
Diaby- still here
Denilson- still here
Djourou- still here-
Squillchi- stil here
Gervinho- still here
Chamkah- still here
Bendtner-god knows
Park- lol

Thats being really kind to Mertsacker who looked so slow last year and Benyaoun who did some good stuff in some games.
RVP knows its all over for a while thats why this is so bad. We just lost the best player in the Prem !!!

We all know he's going and to be honest im beyond caring anymore. I used to worry myself stupid when Vieira was linked with Real or Juventus every summer same with Henry and Cesc but the more it happens to more you get used to it. I honestly am not worried one bit because we all know he's going and i honestly couldnt give a shit about th start on next season right now

My thoughts exactly Flash. When you combine this saga with the Gazidis Bullshit Fest yesterday, you can't get angry anymore. I just want him to leave now to be honest. We've all been through the arguments as to why he should stay or go but just this once Mr Wenger accept that he doesn't want to be part of your 'project' anymore, get him on Ebay now, get a price for him and then buy nothing to replace him, pay part of the mortgage off and then like all of the recent summers we can all move on and be miserable yet again :banghead:

Yeah I just hope we dont become a club full of fans who now only have joy when others lose. Its the way its going so I am also not overjoyed about next season. I just love Van Persie and think this is worse than any other player leaving before.
He has 4 to 5 good seasons left Injury Permitting.

Don't go overboard matey. Couple of great seasons out of how many at the club? Yep, I'd prefer it if he stayed too but no more of the bollocks, Just sign the contract or piss off,

When RVP leaves I look forward to the army of clowns claiming "he's finished anyways, only one season left in him".
Probs the same clowns who thought we were well shit of Cole, Nasri and Cesc

Wenger is not going to splash the cash so why prolong the agony? Just get rid of him now, stop pissing about etc etc

Totally agree if he is going now let him fucking go..... but its not in the interests of AFC - season ticket renewals just happened, silver membership renewals happening by the 8th, new shirt out within a couple of days and meetings with supposed supporter groups it isnt in their interests to release bad new right now fuck what our fans think/want

Just read on twitter via Arsenal View that the club are printing shirts with Van Persi 10 on the back, the worst thing is people will still buy them, and if he leaves - ooops better buy another shirt with my disposable income, never mind.
