Baba,
Please can you honour your promise to go on TalkSport to discuss the Club. Give your mate a shout and get yourself on there. I will sit and listen to it with a 125 Anniverary Club hotdog and a pint of flat Fosters.

To be fair baba, i know that highbury jd and BDB are still very much in the "believers" camp but i feel that they are always reasonable debaters who wont just dismiss somebody cos they dont agree with their opinion and I for one appreciate and respect that

Augie
The invite to Stillman is not pointless.
If this Forum just remains between the few usual regulars then it is merely a talking shop, which to date has resulted only in a bit of online agitation through afcnotplc, some publicity for the Black Scarf protest and a banner that has not been shown.
You might not like what Stillman writes, but he does have many Twitter followers and readers who access his views via Arseblog, which is a lot more than any of us do.

As soon as my mate is back in London, I 100% promise you that I will get myself on it and talk about this. I have had enough.

I'd be interested to know what good having 177652 members does them, thoughHashKads wrote:Manchester United Supporters' Trust - 177652 members

I'd imagine the Glazers do what they like just as Kroenke does. The fans opinion probably doesn't really come into it. They'll run their club how they like. Could be wrong, of course.

Re: AST vs Gazidis
They are paying members though. So I'm guessing if they don't think the Supporters' trust is doing what it should be, most would leave. So to still have that a high a number for a supporters' trust that is only 4 years older than AST is quite commendable IMO.g88ner wrote:I'd be interested to know what good having 177652 members does them, thoughHashKads wrote:Manchester United Supporters' Trust - 177652 members

Re: AST vs Gazidis
This Stillman character sounds like a total arsehole tbh.
It's probably not fair to judge a bloke solely based on how old or young he is, he can't help it that he wasn't born in time to live through the dire 70's and 80's and earn his supposed street cred that way. But he does himself no favours by pontificating as if he is an authority on a club he has probably only followed for less than 20 years and only known mostly success with. To alot of older fans you need to have put the time and money into it through thick and thin.
But anyone that puts themself forward as a know all superfan is a total fucking geebag anyway.
End of.
FACT.

The thing is though, that the red mancs spent over 60m on three players last summer and even though their fans believe that should be spending more, they still spending money that it takes us 3 years to spend. Are they spending cos they know the fans wont tolerate the lack of investment that we put up with or are they spending cos ferguscum demands it ? Fcuked if I know
