As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How confident you are about this.
About what? The Giroud transfer? I'd say extremely confident at this point. The guy has his heart set on joining us as well (Kos played his part with the tapping up ).
I think we'll sign him, and with Podolski already on board and M'Vila all but signed, we look incredibly strong going into next season, providing we hang on to RVP of course (should be easier following all these signings and the statment of intent shown).
Can't believe it to be honest. We're used to disappointment every summer so it all feels surreal! But if there were a set of fans who deserved a bit of joy for a change during the close season, it's Arsenal fans.
your dreaming mate. You really think we will keep RVP, Sign both Pod and Giroud to play along side and as back up and then sign a world class player like M'vila?
Certainly cannot see us signing m'vila - not sure if I feel that way cos the fee is more than wenger likes to pay or cos I feel that wenger has a ridiculous level of loyalty and belief in song

But who's to say this isn't what he wanted all along, and will commit now after seeing the club finally show some ambition?
Anything is possible. Let's hope it pans out well for us in the end.
M'Vila is not world class yet, won't be a guaranteed starter and will be rotated and forced to prove himself.
Totally agree. Think if we get Giroud chamakh aand park will be on their way out- rvp will stay. dad said he wont go citeh. barcewhores dnt want him madrid dnt need him. juve well the italian league is fixed so no point going there,

Giroud I think could be a great signing, and make the same sort of impact that Guivarch' made at Newcastle
M'Vila? LOL Dream on.
ST renewals needed. This multiple transfers business reminds me of all the concrete interest in Benzema three years ago, oh and not forgetting Mata and Mario Hoaxe...Errrm Gotze I meant!
If Giroud signs for £13 mil, Podolski plus Giroud together won't manage as many league goals as RVP. FACT.
I suspect it'll be Poldi and Giroud signed for combined £23 mil, RVP sold for £28 mil. Tidy £5 mil profits, plus add the sale of Arshavin and Djourou and profits could rise to £20 mil almost.
And like last summer though, we'll be told by many Gooners it has been a successful transfer window
If these player signings to come off (and that's a BIG if), does anyone wish we had a decent shirt to buy to celebrate them (couldn't think of a better word than celebrate)
