Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
Re: Will RVP play for Arsenal again??
For the £25-£30 fee that is reported, there are better options for top, top clubs.
Madrid and Barca can go and get a younger, not injury prone Cavani for the same fee or even top up £10m or so and get Neymar. £30m on a 29 year old 'crock' is a risk, he might end up being another Thierry (faded, Barca Thierry).

If he expresses a desire to go, I genuinely think we should sell him if we can get more than £20m for him.

Pay 40m for a player who scores some goals in a piss poor league. One day Neymar will play against a player like de Jong and he will quit football the next day.
He'll never be a top player in a top competiton. Mark my words

ok, just googled Neymar, and I can confirm we will sign him as he has a worse haircut than Song and Chamakh combined.
In fact, he has a very punchable face

Re: Will RVP play for Arsenal again??
Not for a player with one year left on his contract. The teams who want RVP have us by the balls. We except £20m now or they get him for free in 12 monthsaugie wrote:SWLGooner wrote:If he expresses a desire to go, I genuinely think we should sell him if we can get more than £20m for him.

Re: Van Persie Saga/Coffee morning
got all the usual rumblings to it, Vieira, Henry, Cesc, Nasri. The more likely we get Giroud the more likely van persie is off in my opinion. didnt think for one second that podolski was bought to play WITH robin.

Re: Van Persie Saga/Coffee morning
Giroud is a done deal.
You heard it here first
good business for Kroenke.
BUY a french reserve player for £12 million
SELL the best striker in the world for £20 million
£8 million profit
Wenger can expect another extension to his contract
Season ticket holders will continue to renew
Everyone's a winner

True, still knocked in 18 league goals though so knows where the net is, in fact, Wneger will have to coach his shooting instincts out of him!supergeorgegraham wrote:Didnt realize Podolskis team got relegated !! Does not bring in the right vibe does it. Mertsacker um yeah
