TO FELLOW GOONERS WHO HAVE A HABIT OF ACCIDENTLY SENDING THEIR POSTS ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION, THE SECRET IS THIS:

DON'T WAIT FOR THE PAGE TO INFORM YOU THAT THE MESSAGE HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, AS THE PROBLEM GENERALLY COMES ABOUT BECAUSE THAT PROCESS CAN SOMETIMES TAKE A LITTLE TIME, AND PEOPLE THINK THEIR MESSAGE HASN'T BEEN RECEIVED, SO SEND IT AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN!! :x

AFTER PRESSING THE SUBMIT BUTTON, GO TO THE HOME OPTION (AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE) AND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY YOU SHOULD SEE THAT YOUR POST HAS APPEARED AS THE LATEST CONTRIBUTION IN THE MAIN GOONER FORUM INDEX PAGE.

NO NEED TO THANK ME, (ALTHOUGH CHEQUES WILL BE GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED!) :wink:

haha sorry mate just couldnt resist. it is a worthwhile thread tho, when i first started here i did the double post, should make this a sticky thread.

When I find two of the same posts I generally delete the second. You should have the option to delete your own posts (I would have thought)?

Learn how to type in mixed case!

For those of you who can only post in UPPER CASE, I'd like to each you about an amazing feature on every PC keyboard - the Caps Lock key! It's over to the left (the fork hand), next to the "A" key on standard keyboards, but may be elsewhere on laptops. If you press it, the keyboard can suddently generate lower case as well as UPPER CASE characters.

Amazing!

Very funny Al, very funny! :lol:

However, it is probably better when reprimanding someone else to make sure your own post makes sense!! :roll: "I'd like to each you?" You meant to write Teach, I presume? Or is that Reach? Peach perhaps? Maybe you meant Leach? Surely not Beach?

And as for "suddently", what the feck does that mean? :? At least Hleby corrects any mistakes BEFORE posting! :oops: (or at the very least, soon afterwards!) :wink:

I Hate Hleb was only giving friendly advice - in his own special way - to newcomers. Sometimes people don't realise that their posts are still in the process of being sent to the main index, and therefore submit their post again. We have all done it at one time or another. I'm sure you will admit it is annoying seeing the same thing written two, three or even four times running? :x :x

Anyway, I await I.H.H.'s response with great interest!!
