Just a suggestion........when we know when Steve's stone is put in place we could have a Gooner get together (piss up and tribute) for Steve.
It doesn't have to be during the football season. Anyone within easy reach of London could attend. We could have a separate one for the Irish lads etc on a match day next season.
Just a thought.

That's a good shout. We could even do it for one of the Euro games?olgitgooner wrote:Just a suggestion........when we know when Steve's stone is put in place we could have a Gooner get together (piss up and tribute) for Steve.

Yeah, that would be good. Do either you or OMM know how the stone is coming along.HashKads wrote:That's a good shout. Christ I can't believe it's a year since Steve's passing.
One of the nicest, funniest, most genuinely warm blokes I've ever had the good fortune to share a beer with. Hope his family and his good mates Mutts, Percy and Onemoreminute are holding up ok at this sad time.
RIP, Chaz x 2.

Hi all,
Sorry to bring this thread back up, I know it's a sad subject.
I wanted to know if a stone was still to be laid in his honor, and if so, will it be Armory Square or the North Bank Terrace (https://bookings.arsenal.com/stones/nor ... s/book.htm)?
I am hoping to "cross the pond" in the next year or two to come watch my first Arsenal game (
) and if I do, I would like to pay a visit to the stone.
