End of season DVD 2011 / 2012

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

End of season DVD 2011 / 2012

Post by StuartL »

Hurry while stocks last

http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archiv ... 011/12-dvd

Seriously does anybody bother spending circa £15 to watch a re run of our inept performances anymore ?

I used to get them every season but haven't bought one since about 2005.

(does that make me a glory hunter ?)

Much prefer to watch any of the legends DVD's - Henry, Bergkamp, Wright - is there a case for a Pires DVD or perhaps a RVP dvd now he has reached over 100 goals and won player of the season awards last year.

If you download 2008-09, you've basically got every season up until now anyway.

 :banghead: :D

There's already a van Persie one for scoring 100 goals.

You must have been on holiday on Mars when they were marketing it.

Alternatively you just go on Arsenal player and watch the 2 games worth seeing again for nothing (spurs home, chavs away). The rest is real groundhog day stuff

The thing that always makes me laugh about these now is the opening & closing montages where they try to justify this season's latest lack of silverware or relegation-form implosion, in that typically hilarious but equally frustrating "DPRK State TV" tone that only Arsenal can do

It's fucking deja vu every year lol. Basically every one closes with a quote from Theo about how "next year we have to win for the fans"

I've never bought any of these. Why bother when it's available to watch online for free anyway.

no it was a subtle dig at our beloved marketing . What's the point in releasing one for 100 goals when he has scored quite a few more on top and hopefully will continue to add to his tally and move up our top scorer chart ?

Oh what's that so that people / fans / idiots / mugs (delete as appropriate) have to cough up to buy another one when his time with us is over.
