It is so obvious that we're signing these 2 as a replacement for RVP and that will be it.

First it was "RVP is off because he wants to play with quality players and we won't sign them".

Now it's "RVP is off because we've signed quality players to replace him".

I agree that we need a top DM (and don't forget a RB) but I'm not convinced about M'Vila. I guess we've all heard good reports but have any of us seen enough of him to make a judgement on him? He certainly didn't pull up any trees at the Euros.
I saw a feature on him which included an interview with his current coach that went along the lines of' "I didn't see anything special in him when he arrived but he did work very hard...".

I'm sure there are other DMs out there (Inler, Hubschman etc) as long as we get a good one I'll be happy. We certainly don't want another self-important French prima donna.

Still think M'Vila will happen. As reliable as Spiro is, he doesn't get everything right. He said this morning that Giroud was gonna do his medical today when it had already been done yesterday, for example.

Dissapointing but can't say I'm overly shocked he wont be coming.
