Welcome to The Arsenal, Olivier Giroud

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i agree with you. i dont know what more rvp would want to see in termrs of sharing the goal burden. there is no way we can compete with the oil barons so if it is money orientated then he can sod off.

Welcome OG, may you settle quickly and provide a threat from corners. Oh they were the days when we scored from set pieces.

Chim chim cher-oo
Who needs Nik Bendtner when we've got Giroud!

Genuinly happy we've signed him to be honest.

I'm loving the through of a Podolski-Giroud-Van Persie front line.

That would be suicide.
Gervinho & Chamakh don´t score.
Podolski is a midfielder more than a striker.
Giroud needs time to adapt to the PL.

I still think there is a chance that RvP will stay and sign a new contract.
Aaaah! there indeed is the 'Rub'
Many have to their minds he is no longer of the Arsenal
Verrily they have reasons good amongst all men
For this has been the way in our recent days and history
But, shall we,
the 'we' that is you and I fellow Gooners, dally and wonder
M\rk time with furrowed brow
or soothing thoughts,
Keeping alive the thread that is hope
and by which our dreams are anchored
Nay! tis not yet something the Gods are willing to reveal
And so, till such time
Be ye of hope and balanced mind
Weep not!
For tis not yet known what this tale shall tell.

What i'd do........all the dead wood.Pay them up and get rid....pay off the contracts. Ok, might cost but make them free agents. if our revenue streams are as good as we are led to believe/deceived then fairly soon recover. Of course I could be completely wrong and have made a mathematical bollocks assumption.... in which case will not complain or defend an ''utter kunts'' posting!
