As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Macca wrote:The milkman told me this morning that his mate who lives next to The Arsenals training ground was walking the dog last night and there was a lot of activity late evening over there.
He likened it to when an important player was taking a medical/signing as he'd experienced before.
He hung around till 10pm but had to go....so didn't see who it was..!!
M'Villa perhaps...??
really Macca? or is this one of those jokes haha
Maybe they were getting a Dominos party deal delivered?

Jimmy the Tramp from down the road says he has it on good advice we're signing Joao Moutinho. Jimmy's full of shit but Moutinho is the sort of short-arse playmaker that would be mustard for the Arsenal, much better player than any of Rosicky, Ramsey, Klingon or even the likeable Arteta.
So if we sell RVP he will not buy another forward ???
Not if he doesn't get rid of the half a dozen piles of crap that we still have at the club!!!! People keep talking about getting rid of Vela, Park, Arshavin, Bendtner and Mary Ann but who is going to buy them? Yes we may be able to sell Arsh and Barry Bendtner (only if we drop the asking prices), but we could still have 4 or 5 strikers on our books even if RVP is sold! The longer we have the likes of Barry B at the club, the more danger there is of us selling our most valuable asset and keeping one of the dead wood strikers as backup to Giroud and Poldi.
It's essential that we move on those players that aren't good enough, but we won't be able to do it if we ask for 4 or 5m for players like Denilson!!
